While the staff was extremely friendly, and clearly had a love for animals, the pricing is insane. I paid 200 dollars for two shots for my cat, and then was offered a free sample that I was then charged for. Just simply not worth it when there's plenty of cheaper places that do the same thing.
The staff and doctors have a genuine love of animals and their owners. They listen to your concerns and work hard to keep pets and their owners healthy and happy.
Great animal hospital. Very knowledgeable and experienced vets. Grooming available.
The staff is excellent and caring. They really made my dog comfortable which made me happy. Reasonable prices for a full range of services.
This is the absolute best place to board in the area. I've been coming here for over 10 years and it's the only place that makes me and my dog feel safe and comfortable when boarding. They not only put up with my constant daily calls to check on him, but are happy to tell you all about his day. A person is present 19 out of 24 hours of the day, every day and they also offer snacks and special foods but we always opt for the doggie ice cream! My dog is very anxious, can be an escape artist, and has some separation issues.. this is the only place I trust with him! He is completely content when boarding here. I recently had to board with another office on the area because VCA was booked for the holiday weekend and the experience was far from the level I am used to receiving at VCA! I will make sure to book a few weeks in advance from now on!
Always feel comfortable leaving my dog here no worries knowing they take great care of her everytime.
Gina Robinson has been fantastic with my exotic pets and she's one of the only few people around that will even see them
Friendly, cares about the animals and their owner. Excellent care of animals of all kinds. Just the best place to take your family pets.
Wonderful experience with Dr. Gina Robinson who is always very loving and awesome with my little green parrot baby Molly Q Pickle. Today Molly for the first time ever had blood feathers broken and bleeding and while mom was panicking and worried Dr. Robinson did what she always does and made sure Molly was taken care of and given the medications needed to get well. I love Dr. Robinson and VCA highlands because they always take great care of my baby.
Dr. Gina Robinson and staff were tremendous in helping with our sweet cat, Denali. Denali stayed three nights at VCA while receiving fluids and getting a full diagnosis. Ultimately, it was cancer and there wasn't much we could do for her. Dr. Robinson called every morning to give me an update on how she did the night before and called in the afternoon to give me an update on that day's progress and tests that were run. After we lost our sweet baby, Dr. Robinson even sent a sympathy card to us at home. I know she was well cared for and loved by Dr. Robinson and staff for her final days. I wouldn't hesitate to return to VCA as they have taken care of my other pets in the past as well. For those concerned about costs, 3 days in the hospital, multiple tests, iv fluids, antibiotics, x-rays and ultra sound for $1,000 was more than reasonable on the cost. We were informed of the costs throughout and asked for permission to do tests prior to doing x-rays, ultra sound, etc. and informed of the costs of such prior to the tests being run. You can't put a price on a pet's life, but I appreciate the office keeping us informed of the financial costs during our difficult time.
