You can never cout on their schedules. I have used Amtrak from Champaign to Carbondale several time and I don’t remember any single time that it’s been on time. I hate when I have to use Amtrak, it’s boring traveling with them since a lot of yourtime is wasted.

Champaign-Urbana is lucky to have such a nice transportation facility. Anyone who complains about this one being less than ideal must have very little experience with others around the country. The facilities are comparably very clean, employees are helpful (albeit busy), and the amount of service offered is astonishing. I ride the bus almost daily during the colder weather and take Amtrak quite often (8 trains per day).

I have been living in Champaign about 1 year, and i have learned to ride Champaign public transportation bus stop close to my home. Facilities are clean bathroom are great. The Bus drivers are responsible and careing. But now u know we wouldn't be human if someone didn't act crazy.

Comfortable lounge area with free wifi. It would be nice if they had a display that showed the actual arrival time of the trains instead of just when they were originally scheduled to arrive.
