We found the Uptown Inn to be one of the best hotels we've stayed in. The staff was both friendly and very helpful when it came to meeting our needs. The rooms were clean and spacious. We had a room with a kitchenette that we felt was a bit small (for us) since we had our 2 dogs Pomeranians. However we later found out that they have bigger more spacious rooms with a kitchenette for the same price (good to know for future reference). So if you have a couple of small dogs or a bigger dog, and need a kitchenette, the only suggestion I have would be to request rooms 108 or 109. They have a full delicious breakfast, NOT just a continental breakfast. They also offer which we've never seen before, soup from 4 to 8 PM which was not only delicious, but took the bite off the crisp fall nights. They also offer, which we didn't need to take advantage of at the time, complimentary laundry machines. So all you have to do is bring your own laundry soap and dryer sheets. Yes we DEFINITELY will be choosing and staying at the Uptown Inn (Quality Inn) if we're ever in the Port Angeles area again, and will highly recommend it to all our friends.

Great staff, only negative observation is old tiles and tubs in the bathroom but spotless and well maintained. Perfect central location with a 24 hour safeway nearby and access to the local public indoor pool just two blocks away. If you have a dog there's an off leash dog park, Lincoln Park a 5 minute drive from the inn. Excellent value for what you are getting here. Also free laundry room, just need your own detergent.

Not the cleanest. Small rooms, but average for price. Toilet in my In-laws' room had poop in it leading us to believe the cleaning staff might not be too thorough. Continental breakfast was actually decent and they kept it stocked throughout the time we were there. Great location, a quick walk to downtown, and good prices.

Ok room. There is no bathroom fan and the window was cracked. Said window was fixed with clear tape. surrounding area was runned down and filled with smokers and random rv trailers. No dvd player. No elevator. VERY limited parking.

Room is small but reasonably clean. The price is high but this is hot season for port Angeles so I can understand the high price. Check-in office is shared with quality inn, staff is friendly and helpful. Location is very good.

A little confusing to find, uptown in is considered an extension of the quality inn, so look for that hotel if you're looking for uptown. But once we found it, it was an easy stay. Quick check in. Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Nice complementary breakfast with fixings like waffles, biscuits, gravy, eggs, yogurt, toast, etc. We didn't have any complaints, especially since it was so close to "downtown." It's easy to walk to the city pier.

It was fine for a night or two although the price was high for what you got. Rooms were small and double beds seemed a little smaller than usual for this taller guy. Warmer night so windows were open (no air conditioning). Some noise but overall quiet. Location is good; service was solid; breakfast was fine. For the price, I expected better.

A charming dog-friendly motel. The staff was helpful and friendly. There's breakfast in the mornings and soup available as a warm up between 3-8 in the evening. It was clean and affordable, a perfect spot for us and our creatures for our weekend Peninsula adventure.

Great stay for the price! Friendly staff, clean room, and really close to the downtown area. You can walk to lots of restaurants, bars, and the pier.

Uptown inn is a great, low price option for people who just need a little home base in Port Angeles for a night or two. Our room was very small (as expected), but offered all the amenities we needed, including a fairly large shower. The first thing we noticed was how clean and tidy everything was. The staff was kind and helpful, and even directed us to a great dinner spot. The continental breakfast was the usual fare, but filled us up just fine for the trip ahead of us. I could definitely see us coming back for our next trip!

The perfect place to stay over night. While on a 4 day road trip we needed a quick inexpensive place to sleep. The Uptown Inn while dated was clean, had the needed ammenities (WiFi, TV, Microwave, Refrigerator with Freezer, and semi comfy bed. They are animal friendly so my English bulldog (Capone) was happy to be able stay inside. At $73 a night which included animal fees and tax it was a bargain. Lastly the staff is extremly nice and they even have a morning breakfast.

If you have a pet, I wouldn't recommend staying here. There are fleas in this inn. Our rest was ruined.
