Inexpensive and that's about all there is good about the place. I'm sitting here at 2am unable to sleep on the worst mattress ever, and the next door neighbors having a go. Walls are paper thin and it sounds like they're in the room with us.

This was a standard motel. The rooms looked like it was built in the 70s, but the art had a bit more character than most. Everything was clean and comfortable, and there were fans in the room to cool things off.

Short version: Found signs of bedbugs, contacted manager, were told we only had 5 minutes to get a refund SO THEY COULD BOOK SOMEONE ELSE INTO THE ROOM WITH BEDBUGS.
Long version
I've had bedbugs before, so I check the mattress every time I come into a new hotel room. There are very distinctive stains left by bloody bedbug poop.
I found those stains on the box spring (room 103, if you wondering). I told the manager, and we were given an ultimatum: if you want a refund you have to get your stuff out of the room in 5 minutes, so we can put someone else in the room. No time to try and find another place to stay (which was stressful in high season, but you have a lot of options in town).
Further, the manager said that it was impossible for there to be bedbugs this far north - that's absolutely false, BTW. Especially with travelers coming in-and-out during the summer.response / report this review -

Right off the main road it is easy to spot. We stayed in the double Queen. There was no breakfast or pool. Nice enough staff.

The site that we used to make our reservation somehow held two rooms, and even though we explained that it had not been intentional, we were still charged a deposit fee because they “lost revenue” for a room that could have been available. There was no hotel/area information binder in the room, which was unexpected as the area is very tourist oriented. The building is much older which is okay, but there are a number of updates and repairs that need to be done, such as; the carpet on the outside walkways either needs to be replaced or taken off, there was a hole in the bathroom screen that let bugs in, and the window had to stay open because there is no fan in the bathroom, and the mattress in our room was high-centered, so we kept having to scoot back to the middle so as to not roll off. The room was mostly clean though (mold in the shower stall), and it is located well for walking into town. So, 50/50. You’ll either like it or hate it.

I was in a wreck in the company truck up in Neah bay one week ago today. 8.5 hrs after (4am) the tow truck driver drops me there in PA , on a strip of hotels. Mind you, I worked 12hr putting together a manufactured home , so I was really dirty, and it was raining. The first two hotels both said vacancy's. First one , guy comes to door, takes a look at me and throw the door says the "No" is burnt out on the sign. The 2nd one , guy said they are closed. However, the door sign and the lit up sign said open.
The gentleman that help me that morning was awesome. I can't tell how much I appreciate it I'm looking beyond my appearance, and renting me a room. I live in North Mason co. and know nothing of your area and had no clue what I was going to do if he too , turned me away. The rate for the room was around $50 , so I wasn't expecting much. So i picked this place based on google and I'm not happy. There is no breakfast, no hot tub,and no pets welcomed. Guy at the front desk told me there are over 600 channels and well there are not. They have the same channels 02-100 repeating for the next channels, also they don't have most of the channels in their subscription. The controller doesn't work for the guide at all. There is no working vent in the bathroom, there was a cigarette burn hole in our blanket. Also the clock in the room is wrong and slow by about 30 mins, so 5 mins after check out time someone came knocking on our door and told us to check out. I showed him the clock and he said ok to give us lil more time. A few mins after there was a different guy staring into our room from the window, just standing there, who i ended up seeing in the office talking to the other guy. Yeah it was creepy being watched like that. If i wasn't expecting all the stuff on google and normal hotel things, this isn't a bad place. But since i did pick this place bases on those items and for it to not be here was a huge let down.

Bathroom and room were clean and nice. Room was warmer than usual though which caused discomfort sleeping at night. Other than that it was great.

Room was clean and staff were very friendly. A little bit of road noise at night but nothing to bad. Would stay again particularly considering the price.
