Service was pretty terrible, lady with blue hair rushed through my cut pretty terribly and I wasn't even happy with the result. It wasn't what I asked for. She did an awful job trimming my beard too. Won't be returning.

I got my dreads done here. It was a really good experience. I did pay quite a bit more than I was quoted at which was a little disappointing. My hair also started to come undone at little fast, but that often happens in the first month of dreads. They were so helpful and kind and answered the many questions I had as I started this dread journey. I still have them. :)

Amazed at what a great staff and owner this place has, always seeing great works of art coming from here. They are very community minded as well. all in all a great choice for hair services and one of the only spots in the area for dreads.

All these reviews I see are so old! From what I understand, none of those stylists even work there anymore?? Anyway, I see one of the new stylists, Kendra, and she is incredible. A little out there, but fun and you can tell she genuinely cares about the happiness of each and every client in her chair. The person she saw before me had run late and the appt was running into mine but she was super nice about it and made sure I was comfortable and felt taken care of while I waited. When I finaly saw her, she was quick to address my concerns and I felt confident she understood what I wanted. Let me just say? I loved it!!! I walked out of there feeling like a million bucks and can't wait to set up my next appt. I'm so glad I finally "found the G-Spot!" LOL!

I had a consult for dreadlock maintenance and extensions , I was price quoted $400 for the extension work and $50 for the hair. the price was way to steep for medium length extensions. so I just made an appointment for maintenance . she charged me 100$ for an hour's work. I explained the issues I was having with small hairs coming out around my forehead. she began right away with napping and crochet hooking the dreads. which is what you do to manage and make dreads. I was very pleased with this
however, less than a month later I realized I spent way to much money when a lot of the work starts coming undone. she had mentioned she wasn't even sure it would hold on because of my length. I guess I should have listened and just walked out cuz now I feel like a dumbass. the extensions would have helped with my length issue. from what I did see it was truly a inviting and comfortable atmosphere. they even allowed my 3 year old to play with some faux head dolls.response / report this review -

I see Angela regularly to get an asymmetric short cut for curly hair. I've read through some of the reviews listed here for Angela and people seem to either hate her work or love it. I'm in the love camp. I don't dye my hair, so I can't speak to that, but she always understands what I want and I always like how I look. Yeah, it's a $50 haircut, but unfortunately that is the price of a haircut, unless you go to LaJames or unless you're a man. Anyway, I think Angela is a good stylist who charges a standard competitive fee.

I had a great time when I was in there, the staff was fun and comfortable. Krista was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and passionate. After she was done trimming up my bf's hair she offered to trim up my beard, did an amazing job and shaved my head, make me look younger and thinner in the face.
The amount of product knowledge was awesome, people want good UNIQUE products. It did wonders for my scalp.
I think they are fun, funky, and fresh. The decor was relaxing too.response / report this review
