Outstanding institution of higher learning. People here care about learning and about students' needs. Diverse and inclusive community is a real support network. Love this place. Also beautiful campus!

In 1974 I graduated from this great University with Department Honors in Behavioral Science. Over 20 years later I was honor to receive the Community Service Award; being the youngest recipient and the one who had graduated longer than any of recipients of said award night.

I'm a proud graduate of this university. I loved the intimate feel of the small campus, the small class sizes, the outstanding and accessible professors, my smart and witty classmates, the greenery all around the campus, the ivy-covered exterior of Founder's Hall, and the great reputation of the school. I understand that some people may prefer to attend a large university, and/or a college with nationally ranked Division I NCAA sports teams to cheer on every Saturday, and that's fine. But for me, I loved my experience at La Verne. It was everything I needed and more. I have only positive things to say about my alma mater.

Very poor environment, forces their atheist views on students. If you stand up for your faith they will scorn you and report you to the administration if you ever mention the Bible. But if you tell them your homosexual you will practically receive a standing ovation. Teachers have openly mock students and or their faith. Administration has warned me that it is in appropriate to speak about my faith. I fought for this country in the Armed Forces on the front lines. No liberal college is going deny my right to free speech or freedom of religion when I have paid for them in blood, sweat and tears.

Probably the most unique basketball gym from the outside, a small town school that feels intimate.
