Nice facility. We went there for a Illini men's basketball game. Tickets were very expensive. $100 for 4 tickets and we were 7 rows from the very top row the farthest away from the arena.
Great large venue for concerts. Did not appear to be a bad seat in the house.
Great place for concerts. Good sized venue but still very personal.
Getting our Faith on!! Praise with Blanca, Derek Moore, Sidewalk Prophets aaand NewsBoys!!
I had a great time, nice environment! Very reasonable prices I remember one girl, Mallory I believe, she was great! I don't remember if she was a ticket taker, I was a little wild, but she did me good!
Really cool arena to see a concert. Despite a big crowd for Green Day, security moved fast, both getting into the building and down onto the floor. Could offer a little more direction on seats, but otherwise staff was cool throughout the show. Easy access to drinks, bathrooms, merch. Most of all, though, the sound was good. As big as it looks from the outside, and as many people as the building can hold, the way it is built keeps everyone fairly close to the stage. Nice views from the floor. Not too far from Chicago, either. If a band is paying both, probably a bit cheaper to drive south and check it out.
Was here for Garth and the seats were pretty darn good. Concerned because it was on the "side" of the stage but it was still close! Good as floor seats really. Seats in general were ok but you didn't need them too much. The lobby areas have ample space. Lines weren't long for beverages. The parking it was a nightmarefree for allnobody was directing traffic. People were U-turning it and it felt like you were going in a circle that went nowhere. Once we got in the Lot, well just find a spot and nobody took our $9 so free parking. There were no attendants or guidance (until we were almost into the Lot and they just directed the left turn traffic to turn in front of us) Needs organizational change. Traffic up until the last 1/4 mile was fine. Despite its flaws overall Parking was closer the building than most venues.
Went to Garth Brooks 4/29/17 3pm show, here's our experience. Purchasing tickets was not a good experience. The site crashed several times, and when it was working, we got error messages about the tickets we were selecting and it only showed that there was one show available, when there was four total (only one was sold out), and the only show it would give us was the second nearly sold out show with very few seats available. So we had to use a secondary seller and pay extra fees. There is lots of parking close by in their lots, at $9. Here's the problem with parking: they don't have it "together". It was literally a free-for-all to leave the lot, we were at our car and "in line" to leave less than 10 minutes after the show was over. It took us almost 30 full minutes from that point to get out of the lot and onto the street. A venue this size should have people directing traffic leaving the lots and getting away from the streets around it. I've been to smaller venues in better locations that had this and everything went very smoothly. The venue itself was great. There were a lot of entrances to get in and out of. Finding seats was easy, although we parked on the opposite side. The seats aren't very comfortable, but it's a stadium; but they are right on top of each other. Everything else about the show was great. I'd recommend parking on Oak Street north of Kirby to get out quicker, we would've done that if we knew we could get in and seated so quickly.
This is by far the best venue I have ever been too. Great parking, great seats from anywhere, friendly, knowledgeable staff! Would love to attend another event from this venue!
Nicely renovated stadium that strikes a great balance between feeling like you're lost in a large crowd, with a quaint and intimate setup depending on whether you're attending a sports game or a concert. It's also really easy to get in and out, regardless of where you're seated.
Not quite up to the brand new arenas , but light years better than what it was. Facilities are greatly improved, but the place still has it's great quaint and fan friendly feeling! Having A/C finally is very welcome!
