Went for a work lunch. Got a table before the lunch rush began on a Monday afternoon. Emphasized to the server that we needed to leave before 1 pm as we had to be to work at that time. It took well over 40 minutes to have our food served to us (2 orders were salad). I ordered the West Coast Cesar Salad which was described as having had baby kale and romaine. It only had romaine which could have been more fresh. The server did not apologize for our extended wait. I think we'll choose to go somewhere else next time.

This place is going south quick. Last night they were all fighting over whose responsibility it was to serve me. When they went to get the manager and he came out, he had clearly just woken up from a nap and ignored me. The manager used to know me by name. This place is going down the toilet quick. I really could have done without drill rap blasting at a level that snuffs the possibility of having a conversation there. It was a Tuesday night.

Good food and diverse menu. Good waitress. Only minor complaint on this visit was the food took a bit long to get to the table. But overall good experience. Great if you can sit outside.

Always great service. Menu items change (fried green tomatoes) but still have favorites like spinach feta burger. Accommodating . Lots of vegetarian options. Balcony views of Kalamazoo.

Recently I went to University Roadhouse because I was told how great their food was, plus their great outside seating areas. I left there with my expectations met on their great food, with affordable pricing. BUT, what will keep myself and my fiancé coming back was the great service we were given but our server Abby. She was punctual with everything throughout the meal, and our glasses never made it to empty. Thank you again Abby, your service has definitely turned us into loyal guests. And the food was great. University Roadhouse gets 5 stars.

Enjoy the food, enjoyed the atmosphere. Service was fitting, nothing to blow your socks off, but it met my demands. With this quality of food for the price, its a great spot in the Zoo.

Staff is fantastic! Check out the outdoor seating upstairs on a nice day! Great for watching sports or before and after sporting events on campus.

The Roadhouse has a lot of good specials throughout the week. Tender Tuesday is a lot of fun, and the food is good. Service is almost always fast even when they're busy. This place is great!

Wide variety on menu with plenty of vegetarian options. Kid-friendly and not too busy on a Sunday afternoon. I really enjoyed my salad, my husband enjoyed the feta and spinach burger and my son loved the kids pizza and free popcorn. Definitely will return for casual family dining, especially with a group that has varied tastes.
