They called me and after telling me the cost for a billing and coding is 29K I nicely rejected that. And she got mad at me and was soo rude and hang up on me. Like jesus crist, you dont know how to be nice to people when they reject you??? This makes me not want to have nothing to do with them at all. Stay away from here. Keiser university is wayyy better and a real college unlike this scam here.

I have three stars because my initial care to this was amazing. I had precious guide me through and she spoke to me as I was a person. Following through to getting everything completed with the program started rocky when I was transferred and transferred again. They were absolutely pushy about signing things but could not fully back their documents. I refuse to sign a promissory note and not have details of where the funds were going to, the program was more expensive than most so I wanted to know why and it would not be provided. No thank you

Watch out for the “school”. Do your research and read the reviews. They had me enroll even though I stated I would be unable to attend until later and I was really just seeking information on the school. Got dozens and dozens of phones call from different numbers every time, some even came up on my phone as junk calls. So friendly and nice during the enrollment process but after it was the totally opposite. Told them I can’t start school and got a rude why can’t you started. Stated everything from the beginning so they knew why. I asked them to unenroll me and I’m still receiving phones calls. Not to mention they quoted me a $29,000 tuition for an associate. I can get my bachelors for the cost at my local community college, which is a top 10 community college. Beware.

My experience at UMA was great until after graduation. Now almost a year later still no job and now i owe too much that i can't even afford Wow now I'm back to where i started but the only differences is that i now owe a much larger debt and still unemployed smh!!
At times i do regret doing the online program because in reality it is a waste of time sorry just being honest!

Okay these reviews on here really shock me. This is my experience with UMA. The original finanal aide process was horrifying for me. It almost caused me not to answer another call or sign another paper. After I got past that and actually started my classes. The calling got out of hand to the max. My advisor was out of control with the personality.
But then I got to thinking. If it were easy then everyone would be doing this. The reason they financial aide process is hard, is because they have to make sure everything is done the right way ( it is the government they are dealing with). The advisors call a lot but it's only for the first 2 to 3 courses. They want to make sure that you are comfortable and most people don't reach out when they need help and these advisors understand that. I'm not a talky person so I decided from the very start to give them the house number which no one in my home answers, EVER!! I would have 2 to 3 messages daily. I simply called the school and asked for my advisor to be changed and I told them why. Well they didn't change the advisor and I'm glad they didn't. He was doing his job, just how he was trained to do it and he was great at it. What did end up happening was that his calls only started to come when he saw that I have not logged in. Or he would just sends me a reminder via email.
Its been great so far. I only have 7 courses left. I have a 4.0 gpa and will walk April 2018, God willing of course. This college has been fun and I have learned tons.. As far as career services, I can't speak on that right now. But even though I am not done with my degree. I spend my time networking and building my resume. UMA and no other college can find you a job. They just direct you to some employers.
You have to be the one to get yourself in the door and you have your whole degree time to set yourself up for this. After my next course is done I will be looking for an externship to get some practice under my belt. I wish you all well and ask that you all rethink this school. Because I am very proud to say I pushed through and I will be a graduate of UMA.

The worst online experience I have ever gone through. They call NONSTOP. If you happen to miss the call and are unable to return their call right away they kick you out. The staff are completely horrible and have no communication with each other so they are constantly asking the same questions over and over. When asked to speak to someone that could possibly have more "access" they act as if you are bothering them, such as "How dare you get transferred to me". The only positive part is when you get your first initial call, after that they are EXTREMELY rude and pushy. I would not recommend this school to anyone.

I graduated June 11th 2017 and my advisors Raquel Raiz has been a wonderful help in career service. Raquel and Milo Harris really know how to help students. They even talked to the school on paying for my car insurance nonowners as well as helping me on my driver license. Thanks UMA. Do not believe the negativity Tampa Fl. Helped and still helps alot.

My wife graduated and was able to do an externship locally where we live, but she has failed to find a job using the degree she earned. No one here wants a degree in Health Information Technology, but were stuck paying the student loan, while my wife is working in retail sales for minimum wage. Thanks UMA counselor for advising my wife to volunteer her time at a local medial facility to get the experience she needs to get hired, so can we get the money back so she can volunteer to get the 1 year of experience that the medical field requires? We're paying for a degree that can't be used where we live.

This school please stay away. I went through the financial aid process. They call you a lot and say we need to sign this or that paper. I had to pay some cash towards my education. They wanted to me to pay 1600 a month. I told them I couldn't afford and they cancelled my classes. They don't have any scholarships or any programs to help you. I found another school that is much better and gave me some scholars to help towards classes. Please be aware they are all about financial aid . When your a part cash or cash out student they don't give you a chance. I will never recommend anyone there.

Don't do it. Once you get past the first "wheel" you're screwed because you can either drop out and still have $10,000 in student loans or graduate with a diploma that is basically a joke to employers. Then the student loans are even more expensive and you'll only be making 20,000 dollars a year. If the programs cost is more then the salary you'll be receiving don't do it. They will rush you to a decision in the beginning and push you to sign up for the most expensive program. The first three classes are very hands on and so rushed that you won't have time to even think about dropping out before it's too late. After that the classes are bullshit and a waste of time. Half the students can't even take blood pressure, read, write or speak English and they are passing. The staff was smuggling papers and material out when they were being audited, that's when I dropped out. None of the students information or staffs information was correctly organized. Behind the show they put on its a wreck. Everyone is better off going to PTECH or an actual college. Goodluck.

I have been told over and over again that my post 9/11 gi bill is being processed every different representative I speak with tells me a different date or something new ! Why is it so hard it's like the school does not want to get payed like they want to just give me free books and classes. I have been hung up on because a rep didn't know how to answer my questions and I as well should have a credit on my account due to me as well receiving the pell Grant that I have yet to get any information about ! I've been in class for almost 3 weeks and the fact that I keep being lied to after the last rep stated that it would for sure be taken care of this time is just ridiculous. I get continues email and calls but yet never anything about my questions or concerns or even a call back from anybody letting me know things have been taken care of. At first I though uma would be an amazing school but I definitely changed my mind quick !

UMA has friendly, and beyond helpful staff. I graduated from UMA two years ago. Literally two weeks after I graduated UMA's Career Advisors helped me receive my first job in my career field as an Pharmacy Technician. I've been in my field for 2 years and I love every moment of it. Still to this very day advisors check in with me to ensure that I still have a job and even offer more opportunities. How awesome is that?!

I just graduated!! I love this school!!! They are so compelled to help you. They are currently keeping in touch with me to help me find a career and they are constantly helping and motivating me. I have nothing bad to say about them😇
