Udipi Cafe offers a good variety of tasty vegetarian options for the lunch buffet at a great price.
So, so. Used to be absolutely amazing before they changed management. It is authentic, but just inconsistent.
My Midwest soul usually doesn't get offended to easily but this was maybe the worst service I've ever received in my life. The waitress almost blatantly gave us the worst attitude ever and wanted us to clearly see she wasn't making an effort I hate giving bad reviews but really the worst food experience of my life
Very good ambience.all food is very good.co operative staff Nd management . good value for my money.really I decided return once more.
I would give less than a star if I can. Food was completely tasteless. Lack of communication skills among the staff members. Person taking our order didn’t know what she was doing there.
The food is not good as expected.
Potatoes were half cooked and the vada were oily and dry
Horrible place for food as well as management & servers. Just walking out after dinner- got hair in two dosa & manager refused to accept it & started blaming us for that instead of apologizing! plus look at their check - owner is giving hand written check to hide income tax & overcharged us for two items. Completely tasteless food too. Avoid this place completely.
Worst ever service. Food is ok.. not the best but people here are horrible..
All food was cold and hard, puri was also cold and hard, even when they just refilled it, uthappa was rubbery, sambar was watered down, ended up getting lassi for kids
I ate here on a Saturday afternoon and I was the only customer. The food was fine and I left a 25% tip on a credit card. The waitress then asked me for a cash tip- I gave her $20 and asked for $15 in change. She hid this from her manager by concealing my change in a napkin. At home I realized she had short changed me, on an already generous tip, and still ran the tip on my card. Stealing from your customers is not a good way to run a restaurant. I will not return.
We hurried through lunch, because we had our toddlers with us, but we all thought the food was very good. We definitely plan to return.
You don't have to be vegetarian to love Udipi. But you do have to be okay with not having meat in your dishes.
Udipi is not a typical Indian restaurant because it serves Southern Indian food. So that means dosas. It also means some incredible puri!
I can't eat hot food, but got some delectable food that was perfectly spiced. Wonderful! From the appetizers to the mango lassis to the main dish, everything was just right.
This the best place to have South Indian food in Columbus area. You even get North Indian food which is not bad at all. Ambience is good, very neat place to go with family. It also has a party hall.
