I’m 38 weeks pregnant . I went in for reasons not regarding my pregnancy but the service was horrible. They were all rude. For example, I dropped my glasses under the bed and asked the dr to get it and she says “you can get it yourself”. After that point I’ve had enough. I left without a word and went to Wilson Hospital which had MUCH better service

HIPPA is sort of a joke around here unless people have learned to discuss your personal information in whispertones in a helicopter brigade. I just overheard an entire litany of medical conditions I am sure patients did not want revealed while sitting in the waiting room. Wow. Slide the window SHUT in registration please while you openly discuss people and leave your desks to do so with like 20 of us in line overhearing you. Disgusting.

When you don't have anything nice to say, it's better not to say anything at all.

I wish I could give negative stars to this place. You go through life thinking its only in old scary movies or in the real old days when psychiatric hospitals abused people but its still just as barbaric. Masquerading behind fake "caring" attitudes and "proffessionality" and using all the right words of the profession of psychiatry the staff behind the airlocked doors of the psychiatric facility both here and at Greater Binghamton health center are extremely arrogant, rude, lying, cold and controlling and get off from controlling and lying about patients and you can tell they enjoy it when the doctor orders you to take medications or treatments you do not consent to wether you agree with it or not. They will find something wrong with anybody and say your mentally ill even if you truly are fine. No matter what you say or do they will try to find something wrong with you or the way you think. The doctors are hypocrites because they themselves act bizarre and are very grandiose, arrogant, rude and have to be right all the time. They don't like it if you question them or the system. If you complain they punish you by keeping you longer and the more you point out that they are corrupt or unprofessional they up your meds and won't release you. You don't have a say in your treatment and if you refuse the medicine the doctor will just go before a judge and make you sound absolutely insane so he grants a court order making it so you either take the medicine or they pin you down and force it into you with a needle. They lie so much it is sick and they try and turn you against your parents/family by convincing them you are mentally ill so they become obsessed with "helping" you and always want you on the meds which you most likely do not need. The meds they give are terrible and make your hair fall out and your whole body stiff, dry and uncomfortable and make your brain and thoughts slow, foggy and not yourself. Makes getting up in the morning hell. Even if your 19 you feel like an old man because they make your joints creaky, tense and ache all over and it makes you irritable and unable to do the things you used to or normally can especially creative things like art or music. You pay thousands of dollars a day with your insurance to be held there against your will and receive treatment you do not want and to sleep on a tiny rubber mattress big enough for someone no older than 16 with ripped up sheets taped with duct tape with yellow and orange stains on them. Do everything you can to avoid getting sent here because once your in the system it will probably follow and torture you for the rest of your life unless your very lucky.

NORMALLY I WOULDNT DO THIS, BUT I WAS NERVOUS, ANXIOUS, SCARED,AND THAT WAS JUST FOR THIS OPERATION. I AM THIS EVERYDAY FOR OTHER ISSUES I HAVE BEEN SUFFERING FOR YEARS.I WAS IN AT 6:45, FASTED, NO SLEEP ACTUALLY, AND LOOSE UPPER AND LOWERS:( ALITTLE CHILLY, IN MY VICTORIA'S SECRET SNAP GOWN, KINDA QUITE. ALL OF A SUDDEN SOMEONE OUTSIDE THE DOOR STARTS PUTTING ON A COVER GOWN, GLOVES, SHOES AND A MASK TO COME IN TO THE ROOM. I ASKED: WHY ARE YOU DRESSING LIKE THAT TO COME INTO MY ROOM? SHE NASTILY SAID THAT YOU HAVE AN INFECTION OF SOMEKIND, NOT ON YOUR PAPERWORK HERE, BUT IN THE SYSTEM AND ITS NOT TREATABLE BY ANITBIOTICS. I THEN ASKED SINCE WHEN AND WHAT KIND? WHEN I GOT ALITTLE UPSET NOT KNOWING ANYTHING ABOUTTHIS. SHE PROCEEDED TO ASK ME QUESTIONS ON DRUGS AND WHEN I TOOK THEM LAST AND I SAID WHY DONT I JUST TELL YOU WHAT I TOOK YESTERDAY AND THE FEW I TOOK TODAY? SHE SNAPPED MY HEAD OFF AND SAID CAUSE I HAVE TO ASK YOU EACH INDIVIDUAL ONE!!ALL SHE HAD TO DO WAS SAY SO INTHE BEGINNING. I JUST STOPPED AND GLARED AT HER. I ALMOST GOT UP AND PULLED THAT PRETTY GREY HAIR SHE HAS.
HER ATTITUDE WAS UNCALLED FOR AND HE UNWILLINGNESS TO LOOK UP THE REASON FOR ME I FOUND RUDE. IT HAD UPSET ME, AND HER ATTITUDE ADDED TO IT. OTHER STAFF HELPED ME NICE LATER,
BUT I HAD TO CALL MY INSURANCE FOR WHAT A TEST BACK IN FEBRUARY WITH SPUTUM. IT WAS A COUGH. THE UTI I HAD MUCH LATER THIS YEAR WAS THE PROBLEM-AND NOT INFECTIOUS-SO THOSE RECORDS SHOULD BE CORRECTED TOO. GIVE "MARGE" SOME TIME OFF TO SLEEP IN ON MONDAYS SO SHE WILL BE NICE TO PEOPLE. OTHERWISE, THE SURGERY WAS SUCCESSFUL-BUT THAT WAS CERTAINLY A LONG DAY AS THEY USUALLY ARE. THANK U LADIES. STEPHANIE NELSON

I did not come here cause I wanted to be, the staff seems incompetent, they are messing around like kids on a playground. Again I'm not here of my own free will, and I've been waiting to see a doctor for more then an hour. All in all the E.R. sucks. I feel I had better treatment at Lourdes, and that place sucks ass well!!! I'm so pissed!!! I've been the next one to be seen for more then thirty minutes

Very slow in ER. If you go to the BGH ER plan on at least 3 -6 hrs being there.

I have been here with a patient for nearly eight hours. The one nurse to actually talk to me says that "we are next in line" and that CPEP evaluations are many and backed up. That was an hour and a half ago that we "were next". I have YET to see/hear other individuals even come close to being evaluated. This is ridiculous. In eight hours we have been acknowledged for a sum total of ten minutes TOPS, by ANY staff here. If you can avoid this place, I HIGHLY recommend avoiding.

Orthopedic office is next to impossible to get through. This is a good thing, because they don't care about the people, and made me worse than before. Go some place else.

showed up at midnight with a cut on my eye that needed stitches, not really a big deal. I saw nothing that was cause for me to not be called in for 3 hours and only leave after 6am. Doctor was a little unprofessional but everyone else was very nice
