I grew up going to this museum on a regular basis. I've even had family that has worked there. I always learned something new every time I went, no matter what age. Some of the best memories I have of my late Grandfather, who is retired military, were made right there in that very museum. I'd give it 5 stars but I think the gift shop is just way overpriced, haha!

I enjoyed seeing the museum with my grandson stationed at Ft. Rucker. Seeing all the planes and helicopters and reading the plaques was interesting and informative.

I was presented with an opportunity to visit the U.S. Army Aviation Museum at Fort Rucker which was an incredible experience as a military aviation journalist, U.S. Army daughter, and very proud U.S. Army Mom. From World War I aircraft through Desert Storm, as well as a highly honorable and impressive display of the brave aviators throughout American history, their many achievements, the educational museum presented the history of pilot training, and the hard work of our brave men and women who proudly wear the U.S. Army Aviation uniform daily serving all Americans while protecting each and everyone. I respect you and the American flag, and I respect each and every soldier.

Very well laid out and presented displays of the Army's rotary aviation. The short and concise descriptions of each display told the complete story in excellent terms. Really enjoyed this Aviation Museum and will return one day.

You must go through a security checkpoint before entering the base. Have you license, registration, and proof of insurance.

The museum is great. The staff is wonderful. Well worth the time and effort. Be sure to bring the kids.
