If you like overpriced rooms and a run down hotel, this is the place for you. I have stayed at several holiday inn Express hotels over the years and this one is one of the worst.

This is my second time to stay here. The first time was ok, no issues to speak of except the hotel was still run down.

Second time was on 11/16/2017. Hotel is still run down but this time I had some issues. To start, no toilet paper in the room. Not a huge issue but still an issue. Second thing was, i found hair in my bed. A little more disturbing but whatever. The final straw was when I woke up to get breakfast. The breakfast bar AT EVERY OTHER Holiday Inn Express I’ve stayed at (including this one last time I stayed) offers an awesome breakfast bar (eggs, sausage, bacon, etc.). This one has decided in more cost effective to just take all of that away and just serve you toast, cereal and coffee.

I asked some of the employees at the counter who would make such a decision, and was told “the owner”. Terrible this is how he’d save money. He certainly doesn’t reinvest it back into his hotel.

Staff was nice but the hotel was extremely dirty, room was nasty. Tile in bathroom was broken or missing numerous stains throughout room. I requested a room for 5 people but yet only had two towels and two hand towels. I was unable to locate any staff to get more towels I eventually got someone from the kitchen to help me. There was even personal items from the guest before me left in room. Cleaning around the hotel was minimal and the carpets look like they haven't cleaned in 6 months or more. Honestly a cheap motel six is allot cleaner

The good point for us was that this hotel is pet friendly. We had a nice breakfast but we didn't have time to swim in the pool!! Nice stay!!

I checked in after about 28 hours of travelling on an International flight, and just wanted to check in and take a shower. The room I was given, was about 85 degrees and the A/C was not working. Than I was given a second room where the air conditioner is loud and noisy, there was a roll away bed still in the room and the room does not smell good. When I went to take a shower, there were no towels in the bathroom, so had to go back downstairs, since they do not answer the phone at the front desk. Both treadmills in the small gym are broken, so could not go for a run, one does not turn on and the other does not keep speed, almost jolted me off. Individually these would be small concerns, but collectively it shows a lack of interest in the owners to make this a pleasant stay. This is one of my worst hotel experiences so far with Holiday Inn.

We were completely disappointed in our stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Enterprise, Alabama. From the time we arrived, our air conditioner was leaking water and soaking the carpet. We told them about this problem 3 times, and nothing was done. It was so wet, water oozed out of the carpet as you walked on it. It covered about 5 ft by 5ft area. Then we also had a huge ant problem. They were crawling on the walls in clumps and crawled up the wall along the ceiling. The ants were on the bed as well. Finally we moved to a different room. We were in the room for a matter of a few hours and found a sink full of ants in the bathroom that marched over the counter and up the walls near the ceiling. The lady at the front desk came to spray, but finally told us the faster she sprayed, the more they came out. We then moved to another room which had stains on the carpets, but at least did not have the ants. We were there three days and had three rooms. They need to make this right with their customers. We do NOT suggest staying at this facility.

Walked in and was very pleased with the layout of the lobby. It even smelled amazing. However, that is where it ended.The room was not completely cleaned. The night stand had something - well sticky - on it. The people that were in the room above could be heard walking around all night. We could hear music all night long. Unclear where it was coming from - may have been the speakers outside. In the morning a diesel pick up pulled up to the door. We could hear it very loud and clear as well as the stereo the driver was blasting.
Not a hotel snob as we stay in Holiday Inns regularly - but this one is far from being a place that I would recommend.

This hotel has gone down in quality over the last few years. It needs maintenance in several areas including the AC units, fixtures, plumbing, and the pool (and pool equipment). Staff is friendly but insufficient. The "I'm away from the desk" sign stays up much of the time in the evening. It is slightly overpriced for the quality.

Checked in just after midnight. Front desk employee was wide awake and very friendly. Even helped me find a good location to park a 26 ft truck with trailer. Only negative was the room was very humid. The AC unit ran almost all night, but the humidity never decreased.

I stay at Holiday Inn Express all of the time, this on was a big disappointment. Dirty room and poor customer service.

Rooms were pleasant and clean. Check in and check out, however was not particularly friendly (not unfriendly, just going through the motions and uninterested type of interaction). Breakfast was pretty average, but it's the normal HIX fare Cinnamon rolls, pathetic turkey sausage patties and some kind of reconstituted egg product. However, biggest detractor here is the dangerous fitness centre equipment. One treadmill didn't work and the other the stand was loose and wobbly and the belt randomly changes speed. The handles on the recumbent bike were also loose. The latter two are dangerous, so I unplugged them. I told the front desk clerk, who intimated that she knew the stand on the treadmill was loose and wonky. In which case, why is it still there?!?!? Not impressed, sorry.
