No one in the building to help me purchase boxes. But a different customer brings back a truck a gets service before me after mistaking me for an employee. If I knew the job I would of checked the truck back in for them
i have not used uhaul in about 13 yrs, and i can see why. need a unit to haul a car i bought 50 miles away, called the main line for reservations, let them know the type of vehicle i was towing with and vehicle i was towing. lady said a trailer would be fine, went to pick up and the 2 dudes said, oh that combination will not work, a 3/4 ton truck wont pull a 3000 lb car, give me a brake, what a bunch of not smart people. i will choose someone else.
Fast rental service. In and out in a few minutes
My wife and I have done a lot of business with this location. The manager and his staff truly exemplify personable customer service.
We needed moving boxes. A friend told me their boxes were very good, and they were. I bought several bundles, and they let me return the ones I hadn't used. Nice staff, very accommodating.
We had a very pleasant and easy experience with this location. It is easy it get to, easy to pick up the truck and return it. Customer service was on point, they were very polite and easy to work with.
Money motivated and lying people, poor customer service. Told my truck selected from reservation wasnt available and was "forced" to go with more expensive until i got corporate on the line!
They have bed bugs! When I tried to vacate my storage unit March 16th I found my unit infested! Now they are demanding I pay months storage fee of $93 on the 25th while they treat and I wait for insurance claim. If I could give it a negative rating I would!
First off, when I rented the truck and storage unit, I was told that the trick I reserved wasn't available and I had to upgrade. After several calls to customer service and speaking with supervisors who then had to soak to the manager John Collier, suddenly the truck I had reserved became available.
Then when I went to complete the storage unit rental that was supposed to be the first month free based on the reservation communication, I was told it was not free and would have to pay! Again several calls to customer service and after another manager ape with the older gentleman working, I received my unit as promised.
About 3 weeks later I went to the unit to retrieve my items and vacate and it was infested with bed bugs! I brought the manager, John, out to show him. He said only thing to do was file a claim with insurance company.
So I'm in the middle of the claim process and now my rent is due on the 25th.
Should I have to pay for a unit that I intended on vacating but couldn't due to an infestation that I didn't have prior to using the facility? I don't think so. So i contacted John Collier and asked for a week or two grace period while we waited for the process and my items could be removed and thrown away.
John told me he is not going to waive any fees or rent and if it wasn't paid I would be locked out of my unit and it would go to auction in 90 days! He offered to obtain spray and treat my items - but who is going to then have chemicals all over their items and deal with dead bugs everywhere? This is unacceptable. I rented the unit expecting a clean, safe place to temporarily store my items while I waited for my apartment to open up.
Completely money hungry and unwilling to offer any level of customer service in regards to rental fees!
