We arrived early and ahead of the dinner rush. First round of drinks took nearly fifteen minutes to arrive completely. Next, the wine I ordered to accompany my steak was served in what can only be described as a "filthy" glass. Covered in fingerprints and smudges, there was even some sort of food debris stuck to it. Utterly disgusting! Needless to say, this ruined my appetite and the overall experience for me. I will not be back. Overall, the food left something to be desired and there were a number of service errors that I would not expect from an establishment of this level. They have a long way to go across the board. Disappointing at best

My husband and I are having dinner Troppo for the first time since the remodel. The space is worse than what it was before. Outside none of the sidewalks are shoveled so on a snowy night we had to trudge through the snow to get here. The gal at the front greeting customers is so rude. They got rid of the coat room so there’s a tiny little coat rack that you wouldn’t want to leave your coat.There’s zero ambience, The seats at the bar have no back on them so that’s uncomfortable, the music is too loud, the lighting is too bright, service is still terrible Unreal. Lansing can do so much better than this.

Was there for a Christmas party wasn't impressed for the price of the food. Steak was good but the garlic mashed potatoes was under the steak which made them greases. No salad or soup even came with dinner and for 40$ you should have a salad included.

I would highly recommend troppo for anyone looking for an upscale meal or classy venue for many different events. Whether for a simple date or dinner with friends it offers a wide variety of choices for everyone. It is also events for any event as it has multiple rooms for any size party.

The food was absolutely amazing I had the chicken marsala and my friend had brazed duck. We also had 2 soups both were top notch. This place is a little expensive but if your out to treat yourself I would highly recommend it. Wonderful experience.

This one of just 2 or 3 top-quality restaurants in the area. The food is first-rate, and there is always something interesting on the menu. The seafood chowder is killer. Every time I have dinner here, I like it better and better.

“Lunch”
Met friends for lunch and once we found the restaurant was impressed with the decor, service and food. I had the beef tenderloin tips pasta. Yummy! The Marsala sauce was light and tasty.

The atmosphere is great with wonderful views. The food was very subpart for the price. My braised short rib was slathered in gravy and reminded me more of a piece of roast. The roast carrots were barely cooked. The presentation left much to be deserved for a "high end" restaurant. My wife's scallops were cooked and seasoned great but the rest of the plate was below expectations.
