Old world Florida with Great seafood. Sadly the prices have crept up to the point where I don't go as often.
Good, tasty seafood, fairly inexpensive. Quick and friendly service.
Best Crab claws bar none. Old time sides recipes from a family member of the staff which by the way are friendly as they come. View is nice right on the river
This is a neat fish stop right on the water in Everglades city - every kind of fish imaginable. ..you pay for the experience not cheap and servings were normal. We had a variety of fish stone crab, conch fritters, and fish basket of shrimp, clams etc. For a lunch meal and atmosphere found very expensive.
The food was pretty good and the service was excellent but the prices - for being so close to the source of all of their Seafood - is way too high to justify another drive all the way over from Miami.
very quick service, a little bit impersonal - fish and gator were ok, a bit overfried
Unfortunately we had both serious stomach problems the evening after this lunch. If it was the deep fried or unhygienic issues of ice, glasses or plates, we dont know
The only place where that happened in the US
Orlo always has the freshest and best stone crab!! You can also get all you all you can eat at restaurant.
My wife and I had dinner Triad Seafood one night in Everglades City. They close early, 6 PM, so we didn't have a lot of time, but still got very good service. We chose to eat outside and enjoy the lovely sunset views over the water. My wife got stone crab claws and I had gator bites and we both really enjoyed our meals. I'm not a huge seafood fan, but my wife is and they have other options, like chicken and burgers. The gator bites taste like chicken and seemed appropriate after a day in the Everglades. Overall, good food and service and great location overlooking the water. We would definitely eat here again if in Everglades City.
I chose this restaurant based upon reading the reviews. After dining at Triad, we were thoroughly disappointed. Their stone crabs have no taste. We drove 44 miles for a negative experience. Bone Fish grill had better tasting stone crabs than Triad. Everglades City is a major stone crab center. We are baffled.
First time trying stone crab. It is served cold with a dijon mustard sauce. It was very mild and slightly sweet. Really enjoyed the "hole in the wall" atnosphere.
