  BEWARE OF THIS SO CALLED ACCOUNTING FIRM
  
  If you want the receptionist to prepare your tax return with little to no supervision, using software you can purchase yourself to prepare your own tax return, this is the accounting firm for you.
  
  If you feel comfortable to be handed your return in a meeting and not going over it with the so called professional that prepared it so that you can understand and feel comfortable with it, then this is the firm for you.
  
  If you want to be berated for questioning erroneous figures on the return, and not even get an apology when you are right, this is the firm for you.
  
  If you want to deal with Pete Ruess, the owner of the firm, who is unprofessional, a bully in how he speaks to women, aggressive and just down right rude because they made a very simple error that you have the audacity to question (remember, they are providing you a service that you paid good money for them to provide, and it is your return afterall), then this is the firm for you. Like a petulant child, he also hung up the phone on me without saying the call is over or anything, very professional, all because he did not want to discuss the errors made in my return and how poorly he and his "team" handled my return and advising me that they corrected THEIR errors based on my questions.
  
  If you want a firm that is professional, ethical in their dealings with clients, can admit when they make an error and are humbly apologetic for doing so, then this is NOT the firm for you. Please go elsewhere and don't go through the verbal abuse, unethical behavior and incompetency that I did.
  
  Apparently, the adage word of mouth can be your best advertisement or your worst means nothing to someone like Pete Reuss. Like Pete Ruess said to me, he doesn't discuss who in his company prepares clients' returns or how with his clients. Maybe they should.

  Every year, I take my taxes to done by a different company. Except for this year!
  
  This year I have found the best tax service company. It's called Treasure Coast Accounting. From the time I called them to the time I got my taxes completed, they were very helpful. Since I have a small business, they help me understand what I needed to do to organize and take advantage of the new business tax laws.
  Basically, it wasn't to just take my money and complete the forms but to look out for my best interest.
  
  If you have a small business and need a reliable company to do your taxes, I highly recommend Treasure Coast Accounting.
