Unless you are destitute, do not stay here. The place is filthy. It smells of cigarette smoke and has the burns on the carpet and bed spreads to prove it. Our shower stall tiles were cracked and missing. We lasted 10 minutes and got our money back, so we luckily were able to find a better place for not much more money.

PART I OF II: Salutations to whomever comes across this review, as you as I was not long ago are looking at this establishment for its affordability. However I feel It would be doing a great disservice to the public to not share my experience with this place, so pull up a chair, grab some snacks because this is going to be a long one. Now before I begin a quick disclaimer. For a budget motel at $70 a night, I certainly wasn´t expecting the Hilton, or the Roosevelt or anything like that. I was however expecting a reasonable degree of quality, however this expectation was quickly and swiftly thrown out the door (if we could OPEN the damn thing, but we´ll get to that shortly). Things got off to a rocky start from the get-go. My girlfriend and I booked into stay here, upon arrival; we paid the money, and were given the key to our room. The first slice of this train wreck pie came in the form of the broken, mangled, but still somehow functional air conditioner that looked like a piece of Soviet engineering pulled out of Chernobyl itself. The second problem came in the form of water, hot water that is. Upon attempting to run a cooling, effervescent stream of cool water to cool my burning face on a hot day, I discovered the tap ran only scalding hot water, and no amount of twisting and turning could get the cooling river of southern California´s lacking freshwater going. The fact that the decorative thing on the tap broke off seconds later was merely icing on the cake. Then, within not even an hour of being in this place, the power went out. At this point my significant other and I shared a ‘’what have we gotten ourselves into?’’ type of look. Anyway, once the power came back on, we decided to take it with a grain of salt, try our best to make the most of it. Then the next day, the next day my friends, we come to the meat and potatoes. The crux of this train wreck. Upon returning to our room, we discovered we couldn’t open the door with our key, and as expected we went to the front desk to ask. For about an hour that night we sat in a room next door whilst the owner and their onsite maintenance guy violently bashed at the door knob until it fell on the concrete with a sad clonk, leaving only a mangled, downright medieval looking stump where the door knob once was (see pictures included for proof). We were told there would be a new knob put on the following morning, however we couldn’t lock the door from the outside. I politely asked the owner what to do if we wanted to go out somewhere. What I got was an impatient, angry look of disgust and him saying to me verbatim ‘’Where are you going to go?’’ in a sour, condescending tone of voice. At this point I was so floored by the lack of concern and arrogance displayed by the owner I was at a loss for words. When you give your guests a room that clearly wasn´t properly maintained, then spit in their face when they bring it to your attention belongs in the ‘’How to piss on your own business’’ for dummies book. Horrible! Absolutely,with out a doubt,the worst hotel l've ever been to! It was dirty,stained linens,rusty bathroom & the staff(one in paticular) was extremely rude,she asked us to move rooms,during & then after completey disrespected us!! I strongly suggest for no one to pay for a room here!

I personally use their rooms for swinger parties and orgies on weekends. The interior of the rooms is a bit old but the beds are decent for fun. Thank you, Travelers Beach Inn for your service.

To noisy, not really quiet at all, the online price said 65 a night. They failed to mention the ten dollar tax fee on top of it. So you'll be paying 75 instead. But I notice he didn't give me a receipt so I wonder did he charge me the extra ten because I was black. The untrustworthy look he was giving tells me yes. And here's the icings on the cake. They take your Driver's license and you don't get it back until you check out. Good luck 👍.

I initially booked tonight with them as my departure day set for my arrival day They were gracious enough to allow the change without any fee The room was very clean, very comfortable, and provided all the amenities one would expect from this sort of establishment I would gladly stay at this facility, again

A friend rented a room at the traverlers beach in . The management came up and said we had to leave we Said we r helping our friend with his stuff and we r going to leave. The next morning we went to our friends to help him Check out he had the room until noon. So we stayed in his room until check out time. The management came upbefore check out time to talked to our friend ., about his lady witch he had to pay $20 for her staying with him add to the price of the room. Management said that she got to go and he said Iam getting her stuff to give to her. Then management said to our friendu u got to go too he said let me get my stuff . He tryed to shut door and management walk right passed our friend walk right into room and said see they also stayed here all right. We said no we just got here we r helping out our friend with his stuff. She said u all get out now. So we did. They shouldn't be able to enter the room until u r fully checked out. If u have noon to be out they should not enter your room sooner. Our friend didn't get to stay until check out time and his room was entered by management before noon with that is what time he had to check out. She was very rude and I also got to see how they clean there rooms when u have checked out. When there is a empty room which u have checked out . They don't strip the sheets or blankets to be washed .They use the same dirty sheets and blankets that the person who rented that room before u. They only wash the towels. So if u want clean sheets ,blankets ,pillow cases I wouldn't rent a room at the Travelers Beach Inn. And if u want kind a friendly and want to hang out with friends before u have to check out, and also don't want management to enter your room before check out time. Then don't rent a room,at Travelers Beach Inn. I would go to a friendlier motel and one that change the sheets ,Extra. They lost our business ,we will never rent a room there again. I never seen anything like this at any other motels that i have stayed in. Until i have seen it with my only two eyes. I give this place no stars and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. But I have to give it a star to post. Thanks she also grabbed our stuff and put it out the door.she shouldn't be allowed to touch our stuff and put it out we should be able to move our own things .

This was one of the nicest motels we stayed at for the while trip (8 days) all the way from Wyoming. We will definitely be returning. The lady in the office was the sweetest and friendliest lady ever. And yes, that is our car in the picture.

Called over the phone to get correct estimate price for 2 nights 1 guest (online their price est. is 60$). Was informed they "couldn't release that information over the phone". I'm just saying but why is it motel 6 and the crappier motels can respectfully?. this is the only motel in Ventura county that has denied that info to a customer, very disappointed

Terrible place. Read the reviews. DO NOT BOOK HERE! I booked until I saw it was permanently closed on google. I didn't show up to the property. I was still charged $72 for not showing up to place that was permanently closed?!?? The staff is very rude. Bad people. Money hungry, just looking to take your money. Ugly place.
