Waiter seemed more interested in the football games on TV than serving customers. Burger was average - nothing to write home about. Ribs were good, but the sauce is way too sweet.

Food was fantastic, had the 1/2 lb peel your own shrimp as an appetizer with the fish and chips as a main course. Flavor on the shrimp was fierce and bold without a ton of heat (perhaps a bit to much salt but just peel it before trying to eat it and you will be in great shape!). The fish and the chips were perfect! The fish was beer battered and the batter was just right, not to much or to little and cooked just enjoy for a crunch without a burn. The chips were flavored and flakey as well. All in all food was perfect. Service was dismal however, I am sad to say. Waitress was pleasant enough at the table but only checked on us at the end of the meal for deserts and/or check. That is totally forgivable if busy (they weren't) but she was in the restroom when I went in and she was swearing at another employing calling her out of her name. going on about her personal issues with the other employee. needless to say she didn't realize I had come in. While I recognize employees get breaks she was extremely vulgar.. disturbingly so. Hence the low stars, otherwise excellent food. My recommendation, take it to go. The price is worth it, foods great staff maybe not.

Very nice break in our travels, friendly, attentive bartender/server, Faith, good specials, & good food. Will stop again. For those not traveling, nice craft brew selection.

Very busy. The staff is super friendly and work hard to provide great service. Allison was my server and she was wonderful. Whitney is a hoot and Heather is the best. She is always pleasant and greets with a smile. Food is very good and priced well.

Pretty rude bartender when she asked me why I wasn't drinking and made it a point to try to publicly embarrass me speaking loud enough for all patrons to hear her remarks about how "I was a Debbie downer", "I was a buzz kill", a "real man drinks" etc. etc? As not to antagonize her antics I stayed quiet and asked her when she was done could we order our food. However, the be clear BTW it's called being a "Good" designated driver but thanks for your juvenile insults On a good note our crew made our 3hr+ drive home safely. Food was tasty but atmosphere was less than desired

Nice brew house next to several hotels off 95. Allison our server was fantastic and any day due with her 3rd child. Menu is varied to accommodate all. Would stop when passing on way up north again

I'm addicted to their apple pie! So basic but so addictive! Also they have great lunch specials throughout the week, I love the fire sauce they use for their chicken. 👏👍

I was passing through town on my way back to South Carolina. The restaurant staff was very polite and helpful. They even had the kitchen make me an appetizer sampler. The bartender although very short in height she was very tall in pleasing her customers. She has beautiful blonde hair and goes by the name of pittbull i believe. But she was a doll. I will definitely be coming back on my next trip through the golden isles.

We ate here on July 7, 2017

This was our third trip to Toucan's Ale House. Each time we have been here the food has been great. I always get the steak and shrimp. The food is flavorful, and the shrimp are always excellent. Good food, friendly service. When I an in town, I will stop again.

The staff is always friendly, and they usually have FOX NEWS on the tv over the bar (thank goodness) in addition to all the usual sports garbage (who cares about womens junior college softball semi-finals in Pakistan?). Drinks are a little pricey (bottle of Bud $3.75) but good & cold.We have never had lunch here but the specials look good.

The customer service was superb! Our waitress was very attentive to our party of 8. She had such a bubbly personality! Even though there were 8 of us, our appetizers, drinks, and food arrived at great timing. The portion sizes are huge! Well worth your money. Just do NOT order the mac n cheesewas NOT goodat all. It is safe to say, this is one of my favorite Ale Houses.

The service was slow but the restaurant was very full, had a ten minute wait to sit down which wasn't bad. Everyone at our table could agree their food was alright, it wasn't great. I don't recommend.
