Great food, great service. Great fun at a local bar and excellent Italian restaurant.
Really? I read Italian restaurant and I checked the menu. I was close to have a heart attack.
Can you describe me what a Brushcetta is? Or the osso bucco?
Have you ever google the receipe of carbonara? It is made with guanciale and eggs.
And finally, we NEVER serve tortellini with carbonara.
This restaurant is a real fake Italian.
Sometimes I want to enjoy a quiet meal without being surrounded by rowdy & raucous diners. This is about the closest you'll get to that. It has a tendency to be an older crowd so the only time it gets loud is when someone is in their cups or speaking a little louder to be heard. My only complaint is the amount of time it took to get our salads. It seemed an awfully long time to prepare a salad. The dinner entree was wonderful.
I gave it one star because there was no option to give it zero stars. The food was something you would find in a hospital cafeteria. The meatballs tasted like Swedish meatballs, not Italian. The pasta was not drained, leaving lots of water in our plates. Navarro's is the worst Italian I've ever had. Omg they'll be out of business before you know it. Save your money and buy a can of Spagettio's, its better. I wish I had read all the reviews before I spent my money here!!
I'm from St. Simons and this is where we go for fine dining. We also go here for birthdays and anniversaries because it's a great experience. They have a great wine selection and the food is wonderful. The owner, Rich, is a good man and works very hard at making sure his customers are satisfied. It's the best italian restaurant around here and one of the top 3 in the entire county. It's very clean, peaceful, quiet, quaint, and worth the money.
Hands down the best Italian here in Glynn County. Great staff , Rich and John (the owners) make you feel like family as well as the rest of the team. The food is simply amazing.
Totally awesome. Rich is the best. The service is the best and the the food is simply amazing. AMAZING! I've had the privilege of eating Italian food from New York to San Francisco and this restaurant is completely top notch.
This place is expensive and the food was underwhelming to say the least. I felt that I could have had a better experience buying a frozen dinner. Soupy and sopping wet pasta. Entirely too thick of a sauce for my wife's Alfredo.
Food was just fair. Eggplant parmesan was served sans parmesan (i.e., no mozzarella). Pasta was overcooked. Waitress didn't return to ask how entrees were so we asked to take the eggplant entree off the bill. We won't return.
Service is first-rate and Osso-Bucco is melt in your mouth .
Everything there is great..Happy Hour is one of the best on the Island, You can always meet or see old friends, or even make new ones there. Friendly atmosphere. The bartender there always remembers what I have to drink, as she does with all my friends that go there. Love going there.
