This place is a joke, customer service is nonexistent. I could ramble on about details, but my advise is to use anybody else. Spend the few extra dollars and go elsewhere.
I honestly don't know why there are so many bad reviews. I urge you to disregard the crazy people's reviews and schedule an appointment! I was not disappointed! Had an appointment with Alyssa this morning. I had given her the rough total sqft I'd need over the phone when i made the appointment. Upon arriving i learned she had already looked through their inventory and presented me with what she found and It was just what I was looking for! Then I gave her the exact measurements and she got me a quote a few hours later. Very professional, very kind, beautiful products. I plan on doing more business with them!
**Also to clear up a false statement another review made, remnants are NOT stolen pieces that someone has already paid for. If you have questions about it just call them. Just know that nothing got "stolen" from anyone.**
We are extremely pleased with the overall quality and care of service. Tech and installers seemed very experienced and knowledgeable. On time and follow-up detail was as promised. If you buy through Home Depot or Lowes, Top Masters will wow you, even though the big box home improvement stores won't.
Nice job Top Master! Would do it again.
The countertops we had installed are beautiful, and the install was pretty painless, but communication and follow-up between Top Master and Nebraska Furniture Mart is awful! You have to do everything through the project manager who never answers her phone and it takes several days to a week just a get a return phone call. When she does call you back, she can't actually do anything herself - you have to wait for Top Master to call and schedule whatever it is that you need. The scheduler gives you a day, but they don't call you back until the day before with a time, so it makes it very difficult to plan around. We also had to have a repair guy come out who was supposed to buff out a scratch, but when he got there, he said he couldn't do it because the factory uses a different polish than he has. Why even send out a repair guy if he doesn't have what he needs to do the repair? He also told us that the chip in the seam is "normal" and that there's nothing they can really do about it. How is a chip normal? So now we have to wait another week or two for someone else to come out, all the while my backsplash/floor tile guy can't do the work he needs to do because the countertops STILL aren't finished.
I don't know if it's a Top Master problem, or NFM, but if I had to do it over again, I'd try to avoid both.
Decided to let me go after missing my 2nd day of work within 90 days. Look else where.
Top Master definitely sent their A Team of Rob and David to do our countertops!! They tore out the old fairly quickly, and installed the new countertops with care and craftsmanship!! The President of the company, Mike Verone, even stopped by to inspect the job that his guys had done. We had heard nothing but good things about Top Master, and they didn't disappoint at all!! They were fantastic! Thanks again guys!!
Went to Lowes for new countertops. Talk was great until they did not design the countertops we wanted and then Top Master said they could not install them as they were measured (laser measured) even though the person said they could build them to his measurements. We have 22 iinch cabinets, not 24" and since the computer said installation was not possible, Jennifer did not reach outside the box to solve the problem. After two measurement visits and one visit from Kevin at Lowes, our son devised a method to fix the problem, to which they replied, it will work, as soon as you get it done, let us know and we will remeasure. That broke the camel's back and we demanded our money back. Will never recommend Lowes of Top Master to anyone. We went somewhere else and today we have the countertops we wanted and a beautiful installation job.
Top Master was a pleasure to work with. Marissa was patient with us as we had lots of questions since this was our first granite counter top experience. At the viewing of the granite slab we decided to change to a lighter choice and it was available. The rep there was very helpful in explaining the differences of the granite choices. When the time came for installation, the installers were on time and very friendly. They offered information on the care and took care in installing our top. In fact, another contractor came by for a different project and commented on how well the seams on our counter were done ! John, the plumber was another great representative for Top Master as he made sure our re-install was done correctly. Needless to say that everyone has different experiences, but ours was great. We're looking forward to the same as we have them installing our bathroom vanity counter next week.
Just had a great experience with Top Master! I called they answered, showed up on time with heads up notice for the template and install. Quality work by a quality company. That is hard to come by these days. Special thanks to Chip for helping me find the right vanity top color and style for our bathroom remodel.
Top Masters partnered with Lowes to install a countertop. It took 4 months and countless calls for Top Masters to correct a poor installation job. Ordered counter in April was told project would be done by end of May. It took until August and endless calls and visits to my house to get problems solved. It started with the guy that came out to measure. Seemed like a bait and switch system with additional 2-3 thousands of dollars to solve problem. Lowes had a solution for much less money. Top Masters scheduled installation date but called on day of installation to reschedule. Rescheduling happened at least 2 times. Once installation occurred the work was terrible with my wall, dishwasher, and blinds damaged! I repeatily tried to talk to Top Masters to solve the problems but got nowhere! Once I talked to Lowes they finally got me in touch with a Top Masters manager to solve the problem. Although management finally solved all the problems I initially got the run around. Top Masters costumer service should have addressed the problem immediately instead of give me the run around. I can not recommend this company.
We chose Top Master to install the countertops in our new house. They did a great job, the service was excellent and the quality of workmanship is outstanding! The whole experience was flawless. Everyone involved in our project showed impeccable professionalism. From the moment we met with our stellar consultant Ashley, we knew we made the right choice! Thank you Top Master for helping make our new home beautiful.
