TJ's buffet is awful.. Poor ingredients and sub par food even by the already low standards one would expect from a buffet. The sushi doesn't really exist or, worse yet, isn't really sushi. I suppose if your nights plans called for an $11 plate of over salted, over sauced, and over done food this place would be perfect otherwise pick another dining venue

This place is closed. TJ Buffet opened in it's place. A bunch of noisy orientals playing You-boob videos on their phones and the comic book guy from the Simpsons chowing down. Toyko was bad. This place takes it to a new low..

Loved this place because it a true all you can eat sashimi place comparable to other major city places on quality of sushi. But I think they closed for good now. As others mentioned a sign at the door. Best buy employees mentioned they had been closed several weeks now.

Restaurant used to be great, but tried to go to lunch there twice in the past three weeks and it looks like they have closed (handwritten "closed" sign on door).

My wife and I are regular visitors to the nearby Tokyo Sushi Buffet. It was the second place we went to on a date and we have continued to eat there for a number of years now. By a happy coincidence, I met the owners before I started going.
This is the best sushi buffet place in Ross Township by far. We particularly enjoy the many sushi offerings but everything, absolutely everything, is carefully prepared and more flavorful than any other place we normally eat at. It's really good food, far better than what it typically on offer elsewhere in this area of Pittsburgh, and we know, because it's not at all a stretch to say we've visited every other restaurant and buffet in the area. Again and again, we keep coming back.
The Liu family have put their heart and soul into this business and it shows. This is one of the very few consistently excellent places in the area to have a great dinner with your loved ones. I can't recommend it highly enough.response / report this review -

This is our family's favorite restaurant, as well as sushi buffet. We consider it a small vacation when we are able to stop by, which is often weekly. We are grateful that Tokyo Hibachi & Sushi Buffet on McKnight Road is here in Pittsburgh!

Showed up at 12:15pm on a Friday for a business lunch with 3 others. Parking lot was empty and was disappointed to find a poorly hand-scribbled note on front door saying "Closed Today". I will never waste my time driving all the way there after this event. You have lost me as a customer and I will tell every person I know to avoid your business.

They had a huge variety of sushi. my first time I went in and asked for sushi take out.. they hand yu a box and you fill it up yourself. The sushi was really good the rice was perfect, wasn't chewy and had tons of flavor. The rest of the buffet was clean and fresh. The workers were pleasant and asked if I had any questions. I will absolutely be back! I think it came out to 63 cents per sushi piece too cheap!
