Four of us fished all day and caught 6 little bass, all under a pound. They have 11 ponds but what they dont tell you is if you dont rent a boat or rent a guide (each $50 for the day) you have to fish 3 little ponds right by the road that apparently get fished way too much as the other ponds are inaccessible unless you get a guide. The three ponds we fished we very shallow and full of weeds. When you pay $50 fish you should catch a lot of fish. Dont waste your time or money on this place. You can do just as well at any public water in the area.

I made the trip down to Mapleton with high expectations. This place exceeded those expectations. Rented a cabin with the wife and kids, fished, swam, took the kayaks out, hiked at sunset and watched a heard of buffalo graze and drink by the lake just feet away from us. This is the closest thing to a Safari in the Midwest. Great times!

Beautiful views, world class hunting and fishing. If you love the outdoors, Timber Hills Lake Ranch is the place to go!

Outdoor fun for the whole family! Fishing, hunting, nice cabins, and friendly staff. Great place to spend the weekend an hour south of Kansas City.
