Wonderful service. Diamond in the rough and a special place in Louisburg. Definitely going back. Good Mexican Menu, and GREAT Margarita specials. The staff are very friendly and lots of smile. Had a great time there. Have a open dining area, with a separate bar area that seats for diner also, and outside seating. Saw a lot of take-out while there. A sign of Good food.

Very good service. Very kind people, they’re never rude. Taco salad is my favorite thing to get because it is very good! La Mesa is amazing!

They catered my wedding, we had a taco bar. Not only were they polite to all my guest they served each and every one of them. The food was great. We ask for a special order for me and they had it ready to go. Thank you!

One word explains this place, disappointment. The good: My water was cold and kept full, nice patio area, the staff was friendly, nice Mexican beer selection on tap (Pacifico, Negra Modelo, Modelo Especial and Dos Equis) and the service good. The bad: ordered #1 with chicken, got #1 with beef, food was too salty, tacos blew out the bottom the minute they were picked up and shells were soggy.

Food looks good but that is all. Had a chicken burrito that should have had cheese, lettuce, sour cream and Pico. It had no cheese. When we asked about the cheese we were told that it did not come with cheese on it. Looked at the menu and sure enough it stated that it should be topped with cheese. It was like eating a burrito shell with only chicken inside. My husband never received the guacamole that was to come with his meal. Rice was hard and beans were only warm. When we were paying for the meal we said to the server that the burrito should have had cheese on it and we never received the guacamole all he said was that he is not the cook. Way overpriced for the food you get.

Provided incorrect information upon ordering our meal and then messed it up.. not once, but twice. Also way too over priced for stale chips and rubbery steak tacos. Unfortunately this is the only mexican place in town. so eat there if you must, but don't expect much.
