What a great sun worshipping beach. Plenty of ocean breezes kero you cool and the shelling is top notch. Just be sure to criss that shallow lagoon to shave a mile off your walk !
This is the only beach access for the public. Parking is $8 or more, so we bike. With a residential car sticker, it's free to park. There's a playground, bathrooms, a cafe for hamburgers and hotdogs and chickenAND water, if you forgot yours. Most Wade through the lagoon to get to Tigertail quicker. The entire beach is seven miles long.. and allowed to use once you're on Tigertail. The beach is never too full. Watch the sunset. Clouds make it pink and blue.
The part you could paddle boat etc was really dirty water. Did not swim or enter. Ate there. Reasonable food. Staff was friendly. Cleaner water when you get to the ocean but a very long walk!!! With 4 kids we have up and went to Naples where you can park practically on the beach
Very long walk to the beach unless you take the shortcut through waist deep water. The beach was shells instead of sand so if you go I would recommend shoes. Very hard to walk on or get in the water barefoot. Otherwise, it was clean and they had restroom facilities which was nice.
It's a nice area. You can rent paddle boats, canoes, and boards. They have bathrooms, a cafe, and a park for kids.
Tiger tail Beach Rentals has everything you need for a great day on the gulf. In 4 hours we saw countless varieties of fish, dolphins, manatee, osprey, eagles, and collected about $20 in sand dollars and some spectacular shells. The proprietor, Tony, will set you up with everything you need for an awesome day in the sun.
Tigertail Beach is a great place for a long walk. The slope of the sand into the water is gentle because the beach is sooo wide that walking is always easy regardless of the tide height. We park nest to the restrooms at the county parking area and usually walk all the way to the breakwater. It takes us at least an hour and a wonderful time.
AMAZING PLACE!! Bring your wife, girlfriend or whole family. Take everything you need to spend the day on a white sandy beach.. you'll feel like your on a island w/ very few around.. you will need to cross a small canal to reach the hidden beaches!!!
Nothing there besides an overpriced cafe, 8$ parking and left in 10 minutes, only go if you plan to take food and a tent, not much of a view, rude guy at the front, no boardwalk. Basically boring
Beautiful piece of paradise We took respite here from the Mosquitoes at Collier-Seminole State park and went here for the day. Lots of water and fresh sun. The area is kept nice and clean and you can even rent water bikes and paddle boats. Very cool find!
After looking at trip advisor we were a little skeptical. Thankfully my sister, who we went with is a local, and frequents the beach. After the lagoon crossing and mangrove/fiddle crab path, the sights were breathtaking and shell hunting was excellent to say the least..
Excellent place for a family fun vacation! You can rent kayak, Paddle Board, cabanas, chairs. Nice cafe right on the beach.
Neat little place to check out, or hang out at. Peaceful lagoon and nice walk along the beach. If you're looking for something a little different this may be for you.
