We offer Northeastern Pennsylvania's finest martial arts and karate instructional programs for kids, teens, and adults. We provide a professional, clean,safe, and state-of-the-art facility designed for you and your childs success and comfort. Our world class programs are all specially designed to help promote quick and efficient learning, fun classes, and an experience unlike any other.

The martial arts programs at Tiger Karate Academy are appealing to all ages, children, teens, and adults alike. We help men, women and children of all ages and experience levels, reach their martial arts and life goals. We are devoted to helping everyone develop their confidence, self- esteem, and character. All while developing not only their martial arts expertise, but also their physical body and real world self-defesnse skills at the same time. Our energetic, action packed classes provide total martial arts training in a practical, tactical, and logical way. All of our programs are aimed at the total development of each individual, changing them from the inside out.

Some school are drive thru karate schools. Drive up and pay for your Black Belt. Suprisingly many schools now in days do this. At Tiger Karate Academy and our parent organization, The Karate Institute of America, we are an institutions of higher education. There is only one way to get your own Black Belt. . . That's to EARN it!

Our many different programs all focus on development of the entire induividual inside and out. We believe that we can and will help to transform you into a Black Belt in body, mind, and spirit. That means that our students get into the best shape of their lives in all aspects – mentally, physically, and emotionally. At Tiger Karate Academy, we will work with you to find a class that meets your or your family’s busy schedules. We offer classes for everyone ages 3 to 100+ as well as specialty classes and events like Children and Women’s Self-Defense Workshops, Bully Proof Seminars and so many more awesome opportunities to grow and learn.

Tiger Karate Academy takes great pride in the level of professional training our instructors must meet, or exceed in order to teach the entire required physical curriculum. Even more importantly, we train them how to help develop values, and awesome life skills like integrity, concentration, perserverance, respect and obedience, self-control, humility, and indomitable spirit in all our students.

In addition, our students report to us that after beginning training here, they’ve see huge boosts in their self-discipline, self-esteem, and a constant drive to never stop improving on themselves. Our students are proud that they are developing the motivation that is helping them achieve more in all areas of their lives!
