Chris organized a unique experience for our family so that we could tour Washington DC with a master tour guide - Jim. Jim helped us see Washington through the eyes of a historian, and made it fun whilst doing so. We would highly recommend Tiber Creek Private Tours to anyone wanting to see Washington in a way simply impossible to do with a tour map in your hands (or smartphone). Thank you Chris. We will be back for more!

Chris, Larry and everyone involved in our night tour of the monuments was excellent! I wish they had 6-Stars for a rating option!!

My wife and I had just a quick weekend planned and wanted to see as much as possible with the monuments. We first contacted Tiber Creek and was immediately placed in contact with Chris he was awesome!! After a few minutes to see exactly what we wanted to see he created a custom agenda and even made reservations for a non-chain restaurant right by the White House. The next morning after the tour he called again to ensure everything was perfect and then provided advice for any other areas we wanted to visit.

Larry was just amazing he knew everything! We asked questions and we could spend as much or as little time as we wanted at each monument. He showed us things the normal tours would never have taken the time to point out!

Used Tiber Creek this summer for two day tour of D.C. Me, wife, kids (9, 12). Was a perfect trip. Well planned (and executed) itinerary. Top notch tour guide. Great transportation and driver. Plenty of cold water for what were really hot days. I would use them again and recommend them to all. Smart, interesting, fun, considerate, patient, flexible. We are still talking about the trip months later. Couldn't be happier. A-plus.

Simply put, you will be unable to top Tiber Creek for your tour of Washington DC. I contacted Chris from Tiber Creek as a result of our vacation travel plans causing an unexpected layover in DC. The initial contact with Chris in which he described the flexibility in Tiber Creek Tours caused me to extend our layover two days. We scheduled the six hour tour on Sunday and the four hour night tour the following day. Joseph and Eric (with impeccable timing) met us at our hotel and the historical in-depth tour began. No waiting in lines or struggling to find parking, every historical venue was discovered and described remarkably at the perfect pace. Eric's sense of humor and endless historical facts kept the journey lively and entertaining. At the end of every stop, Joseph was waiting to take us to the next destination. We really did appreciate the work the Joseph put in to having the car in the perfect spot to continue the tour. We had a chance to meet and thank Chris personally as we watched the sunset at the Kennedy Center. It is refreshing that with the current climate of today's service industry that individuals still strive to exceed a clients expectations. I am fully cognizant of the fact that you exceeded ours. Well done Gentlemen!

Great family experience! Would highly recommend this tour company! My girls were not able to experience Washington on a school trip, so my husband and I wanted to make sure we saw as much as we could in the 3 days we had scheduled for DC. Chris coordinated our trip and our tour guide Clift was amazing! The Cadillac escalade with our driver Christian and great working air conditioning was the cherry on top! We were able to see sights in DC in comfort and covered more ground than we could have ever done on our own. We only purchased the 4 hour "Welcome to DC" tour, but our experience didn't stop there. Chris was available to us for questions, to acquire tickets etc. throughout our stay in DC. All in all, it was one of the best, most memorable visits to a city I have ever experienced and I contribute it to the incredible service and professionalism experienced using Tiber Creek Tours. Do yourself a favor and spend the money to have a similar experience. You will not regret it! I plan on using Tiber Creek when we visit New York city next year.

We had to make some last minute changes for our stay in DC and had only one day we could fit in a tour .We called Tiber and found that day to be fully booked.However they said they would try to work something out to help us . They called back and somehow worked magic and got us in. The tour itself was magical. The tour guide custom made an itinerary for the two of us skipping those places we had been to before. The result was one of the best tours we have ever had. Recommend Tiber highly.

Our group came to Washington DC as a part of National History Day. We had a group of 11, 6 students ages 10-14 and 5 parents. Tiber Creek Tours went out of their way to make sure everyone had a great experience. Including helping us to see the Berlin Wall Exhibit at the Newseum before we even began their tour. The Mercedes Sprinter was the perfect vehicle to see DC by night, comfortably. Chris, the planning and scheduling contact, was very attentive. He customized our tour, even with a few last minute changes, with professionalism and flexibility. Eric, our guide, had everyone engaged and having fun while helping us experience the DC monuments in a meaningful way. Having a driver and a dedicated tour guide really maximized our experience. I can highly recommend this company, and plan to use them again when our family comes to the area in the future. They are well worth every penny!
