Ok, so I understand that they are doing some remodeling...but this is ridiculous. Pool closed. Every floor I've visited has construction. My room reeks of paint so intensely that i have a sore throat and hard to sleep. Not to mention the extremely loud construction noises from next door and above ALL day. From 8am till nearly 7pm. Constant noise and dust in the hallways. Otherwise staff has been very nice and the room is nice as well. Great views out of nearly every guest room.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

Hotel is currently under renovation so I can't give a full honest review, but we did stay in an updated room. Updates look great. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 was due to the construction noise which can't be avoided

Service was top notch as is expected from staying at a Westin hotel. The view and location are also fantastic. However, this location is currently going through renovations and me and my travel companions (4 total) were all given rooms directly next to renovation areas on various floors. The rooms were clean, but had heavy chemical and paint smells that seeped over from the adjacent rooms. Renovations are understandablly unavoidable, but more could've been done to prevent the intense chemical smells or consider those rooms inhospitable. Had we known these were the only rooms available, we would've easily opted for another hotel.

The stay at the Westin is always nice, the location is the best part. We went for a hockey game and it is a short walk from the hotel to the arena. A few things have changed since our last stay. First, there is no longer self parking and you must pay for valet service. The hotel is under construction, they do try to make it convenient for guests, but don't plan on sleeping past 9am. Brunch at Jackson's Bristo, which is right next door to the hotel is very convenient and affordable, and the fact this hotel is right on the water is a great feature. Only other issue we had was that when you flushed the toilet you couldn't hear yourself think for about two minutes. But this really is a nice place, and hopefully with the new renovations, it will only get better.

This is an absolutely great place. Lots things to do and a variety of restaurants to enjoy. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice place to stay with attractions at walking distance.

Although the hotel is under renovation and management seems a bit unorganized, the staff were great. The front desk personnel made us feel welcome but Nick and Christina, the bartenders, were amazing! They were incredibly accommodating and helpful, very knowledgeable about their work and town. They made our experience wonderful.

I reported a light out in my bathroom on my way to grab a glass of wine from the bar. I asked that it be fixed before I get ready for the day tomorrow. There was no rush. By the time I made it back to my room the light bulb had been replaced. They even called to double check if I needed anything else. Great job guys!!

Strange hotel. If you ask how to get to the pool they give you a compass and instruct you to consult with the wise man in the mountain. After a harrowing journey that could last months you arrive at the pool located behind the hotel. It looks like a remnant of hurricane Katrina. It was, however, heated and rather pleasant. Bonus: You will be the only one out there since everyone else got lost.

Staff was wonderful and they gym gear rental program was awesome.

Restaurant food was good. Room was well maintained. Cover sheet on bed was old and had worn spots. Hotel had an odd odor. Besides those issues not a bad place.

The hotel is located right in the heart of downtown and there are plenty of little restaurants around it. The rooms were a nice size and clean. There aren't many amenities in comparison to some of the other hotels. No complimentary breakfast. WiFi in the rooms cost (I was there for a work thing so mine was free via my organization). I do like the going green thing they do where you can elect to not have your room cleaned during your stay and they give you $5 gift card. Not the best but definitely not a bad place to stay.

For the price, I expected a better experience and quality in the little things. I'm not a fan of their valet only parking that cost extra money and not included in your room rate. No microwave in the room. House keeping overlooked turning the radio off in my room cause when I entered my room the first time it was in and annoyingly loud. My room phone did not work due to the charging prongs being damaged. The lady at the front desk was in the middle of checking me in when another customer came up and started talking to her. She then forgot about checking me in and starting assisting the other customer. Another employee came out and interrupted her too take the other customer away so she can finish with me. The luggage cart I was given had warped wheels and was difficult to turn and move luggage around on.

I gave it two stars only cause the view is great from my room window, the pillows are super comfy to me and the water pressure in the shower is great.

I typically don't care about how fancy a hotel looks, the smaller details to me are what make my stay pleasant.

I was prepared to rate 5 stars. Arrival, check-in, valet, all smooth. Room was older but well appointed. Comfortable. Excellent view. Some noise from above and beside but not more than expected. Ate in the restaurant and food was delicious. Then after a wonderful night, housekeeping wakes us up before 9am by knocking once then letting themselves in the room. Front desk apologized but no reparations made. Started excited, left disappointed.
