Came here with a group of co-workers. We were all able to find something to appeal to us. The appetizers were good and delivered quickly. The pretzel appetizer was a big hit. I had a burger and it was cooked exactly as I asked for it. The fries were crisp and not soggy or over cooked. Our waiter was attentive without hovering. There were some football games on, but the volume was low and we could easily talk to each other without needing to shout. Great after-work spot!

Drunk bartender (off the clock)got in a fight with a patron. Killed the atmosphere so some people left. But I stayed.after punching the patron and kicking him out of The V, she then chased him around the parking lot a la Benny Hill. Hilarious!
Staff was rude and tried to be apologetic but since we were laughing at their drunk coworker, it wasn't very sincere. I did like the fact the bar manager kept his cool . Could have been handled better though

Owner is awesome, down to earth, and easy to talk to, I travel for a living so I only pop up at the V when I'm in town but everytime I come by he is there making rounds, making sure your having a great experience without ever really intruding on your visit. Staff is attentive, food is off the chain, atmosphere is relevant and Rick the bartender is definitely the man to see when getting your drink and just in general cool guy. Definitely a place to hang out, or take a casual date to.

The owner was amazing and cool. The food, drinks, service & people were amazing. I loved my steak with potatoes and salad it was DELICIOUS!! The sports shoes were amazing it a family friendly place and sometimes the have parties like Valentine’s Day, Halloween, Father’s Day & etc. You can also book your own parties. I have been going there since day one and I’ve always loved it. It’s my number 1 & go to spot in Virginia!!

Apparently the place is in the midst of some new management team and they're replacing the old staff out with new. The food has improved since my last visit and their service was excellent. They have a private party room for a bar scene or even a private dining experience. They also have nice outside patio seating, nice during these summer/fall days and nights! My guests and I really enjoyed our food and the atmosphere seems all around better then it was a couple of months ago. Great place to dine I recommend it highly! Will be going back for their delicious brunch on Sunday!

My favorite thing at The V is brunch! Amaxing food and drink selection. The owner says hello to everyone and is super friendly. I would definitely recommending checking out this great spot!

The steaks are very tasty and the drinks are well made. I happened by during a private event and was worried the boisterous frat party would make it difficult to hear or slow service. But it was a non issue! Staff in the dining room were oblivious to the party in the bar and outside. They made us feel welcome and were vert attentive to our needs. I will go back again to explore more of the menu.

Nice atmosphere but service was poor from the greeter to the wait staff and there was no one to be found when we left - so much for "thanks for coming". Brew house is in the name, but we had to ask for a beer menu. Oh, they don't brew at this brew house. Food was decent, but that won't sustain them.

I don't know what the deal is, but the bathroom smelled like the restaurant had hosted a diarrhea convention and hadn't been cleaned. Ugh.
That being said, our food was very good. The ribeye was excellent, the black and blue burger was good and the fries were good.
The service was sub-par with the waitress not coming back to the table from the time the food was delivered to the time she brought the check.response / report this review -

Recently held a birthday party in the private back bar. I can't rave enough about the event planner Kelly, the bartender Terrell, the private back bar room, amazing drinks and fabulous food. It was the perfect event location to host 35 guests. Kelly was very accommodating in working with us on the room layout, when food should come out and all of the little important details. Highly recommend coming here for lunch or dinner, to grab cocktails or to host a private event. The V is our "goto" neighborhood spot. See you again soon!

Located next to several hotels, this place has the feel of a chain. Service was very good and attentive. We came for drinks and an evening bite and not only enjoyed everything but made a note in case we're ever back in the area.
