First time in Pensacola, we decided to try this place out and was more than satisfied with the food and service. It's a simple build your burger concept with many tasty options for you to add on. We will definitely return when back in the area.
amazing! service was TREMENDOUS, menus are simple and fun for all, great music, and top notch food, all in a beautiful location. Near several theatre's (a plus for me) and multiple cute boutiques. Lovely setting around Christmas.
We stopped by here for a late lunch in the middle of work. Unfortunately, it took our server nearly 20 minutes to get to our table. By then, having perused and selected some delectable sounding items on the menu, we had no recourse but to request whichever item could make it out of the kitchen quickly. That was the chili. Which was wonderful. Hearty beef and beans with very nice spices. It could have used some crackers or bread on the side and the dining experience would have benefited from the use of soup spoons instead of teaspoons. We asked, they don't have any. Otherwise, the atmosphere was friendly. Seems to cater to families as well as parties and looks to turn into a very nice bar for the evening.
We had come into town for a show, just down the street, and decided to start our evening at The Tin Cow. My first impression was of a sports bar/local dive and not a ritzy/uppity establishment, which is what we prefer anyhow. We were quickly greeted, sat down and our first round was ordered with no fuss. The menus are laminated and you use a charcoal pen to fill out the specifics of your order. This "interactive" menu is a nice touch when you deal with a burger how you want it and very efficient for all involved not having to repeat it all the way to the cooks. Needless to say, I ordered a roughly off the wall burger, (unless pineapple, peanut butter and a runny egg is your thing) and it came out exactly as I had ordered it. All and all it tasted superb and we were very pleased with our meals. Give it a try and formulate your own opinion, but they get my 5 stars and I will be returning. Thanks for having such a great establishment.
I have been here a few times (I travel to Pensacola often for work and love to survey the local eateries) and have never been disappointed. However, the last time I went, I was especially impressed so much so that I felt compelled to write a review. My server, Alexa I think maybe Alexia? Alexis? anyway she recommended the Oktoberfest burger and WOW. I can't put my finger on it, since I'm not much of a cook, but the flavors made me feel like I was back in Germany during the festival, and it was cooked perfectly. If you don't go here, you need to start going. And if you go here and don't order the burger, you NEED to order the burger. And if you order the burger and don't like the burger, well you can't find joy in life and should stay in to cook yourself sub-par food every night.
I only gave four stars because frankly this is my first google review and I don't want to come off as easy.
Although a little slow, the food is great. 1 of the best burger spots I've been to and I've been to A LOT! The different topping you can get on your burger is endless. Shakes are awesome. Would definitely go back when in the area.
Extraordinary burgers, service has simply gotten higher over the last few years. Our wait time is less than half-hour, whereas before it would get up to an hour. no longer a large fan of their chips or fries, however they have got a few other suitable sizes to select from. they also do correct spiked shakes. solid win for Downtown Pensacola
In town for the weekend and we wanted a burger. Stopped in and we had great service from a pleasant server. I had a custom 1/2 lb Angus burger that I customized. When the burger arrived it was just how I ordered. If you are looking for a nice relaxed atmosphere with great food and attentive servers then stop in and have a burger and milkshake. You will not regret it.
Good burgers and lots of customization options. You can get peanut butter and jelly on a burger?? I got the teriyaki burger and it was good, along with a shake. I thought the shake would be a normal size for the price but it was only a small cup. Good food, but worth the money? Definitely only a one-time experience for me.
Really good burgers that you can custom order. Lots of different meats to choose from including bison. The fried pickles were so good! My kids loved their food. Only complaint is that the floor was super sticky/slippery. Clean bathrooms including a family bathroom. Friendly staff
This is a build-your-own-burger establishment, so ultimately as a customer you decide how good your burger is going to be. I've never had a bad experience, though. Very well cooked burgers and tasty sides. Service is often slow, even when the restaurant is not overly busy.
Greek burger was very goodbacon in fused chips on the salty side and little if any bacon flavor. I guess tat can vary from day to day depending on who made them. Overall good experience. Would recomend.
Many saucestoppingsbuns to choose from. Have fun building your burger just the way you want.
Came in for happy hour. Didn't have certain beers that I wanted, despite being on the menu. However, create-your-own burger menu was fulfilling, and honestly you could just make something from the crafted burgers for less on the create-your-own. Spiked milkshakes have a handful of variety, pretty flavorful, but if you're under 21, enjoy really plain flavors. Haha, poor children. Waitress stared a lot. Don't think she wants me back. I will comply.
Had dinner with my Wife and Son here at a friend's recommendation. Glad we went. Went on a Friday night , place was really full. Were seated quickly, and service was good. We each had a custom "build your own burger" with 3 unique combinations.
It took some time for them to come out of the kitchen, but considering they are cooked/made to order, I wouldn't expect it to be any quicker. We all agreed that our burgers were delicious! Sweet tea was fresh. Cool vibe, will be back, next time will save room for a shake. Knocked off 1 star because some of the toppings were way over priced.
If you don't give this place at least 4 stars, it's because you don't know how to order! Your get to pick literally every ingredient on your burger, right down to the bun. All the ingredients are delicious and fresh. The ambiance is very cool, and the bar gets hoppin at night. Service was excellent as well, I'll definitely be back soon!
