Always a fun time and you can’t ask for better staff!
Great place to enjoy and relax. Fun with a group of people.PARTE'🤪💋🥂🕺💃
Cool place to meet and catch up with coworkers. I look forward to going back again. Prices are appropriate for the quality. Ambience reminds me of San Diego's scene.
The bartender should go to school to learn to make a margarita. She used the shaker and poured into 2 cups and then added MORE sweet and sour to top them off. They were horrible and gave us all heartburn..dont order margaritas from her! Shots were good though! LOL
I have to give them 5 stars since they are kind of the best/only LGBT+ Centric club in Salt Lake. Just wish there were more options in the valley. The staff here is incredibly friendly. The DJs they have are usually incredible (things just go down hill when they start taking requests).
I have had a lot of fun here. Unfortunately the staff are very racist, and very transphobic. I've had four bad experiences with three separate staff.
I stopped by here with some friends while stopping over on our way from Boise, Idaho to Las Vegas, Nevada. We stopped here after an amazing meal at Purgatory. This place has a good ambiance and is rather large if you include the patio area. Since it was a warm summer night, outside felt AMAZING. This is a predominately GAY bar-- so, if you're not okay with that-- you may want to avoid this establishment.
I didn't buy anything because their chip reader was out, but my companions had some cash and bought some beer. There was an ATM if I really wanted some cash, but I was still super full from dinner.
If I was a local, I'd visit this establishment often because it looks as if a good time to hang with friends. It was a Wednesday when we went, so not a lot happening. There were lots of people there still-- laughing, and having a good social time.
I will visit again the next time I am in SL,UT!
Very nice people. Lots of games and the service is great. They make you feel right at home
By far, the best water hole in SLC. People actually play pool at the pool table here, and they're good! The staff are friendly, welcoming, and will remember your drink if you come often enough. You feel wanted here, unlike other bars downtown Love this place!!! Always happy to see Melanie at the pool table, Michael at the door, and Riley at the bar. ❤️
This is a well known gay bar in Salt Lake. Though I am not gay I have stopped here a few times for a drink because it is close to where I work. They are super friendly and great prices on drinks. Super large patio that is nice and relaxing. The neighborhood is pretty sketchy though. During the week is lots of fun. It gets a little to wild for me on the weekends, but if you are looking for wild weekends this is the place for you.
This bar has forgotten who their customer base is. For starters, everybody got wanded as they walked in. That was my first sign this formerly chill place had turned. Found the place packed with annoying, entitled straight girls who expected preferential treatment like they were in some breeder bar and the rest of us were hoping just to get up in that. I'd been waiting in line to get a drink for a few minutes when some sorority girl cut in front of me like it was nothing. Saw it happen to another guy too. I guess the bartenders are catering to this. Crappy straight music. Won't go back. Sad.
Had a blast, strong affordable drinks, great dance music, friendly hot crowd. Met the manager, Mike, super great guy and very professional. Definitely will be back soon.
I appreciate the merit of what I experienced this night. I know bar happening can be kinda crazy. This guy, God bless his soul, told me the only things I can control is my perspective and how I respond to situations, and his friend told me to go to the bus station to continue my journey which I made the bus just in time this one guy bought a few shots and I want to thank him, I love you man.. Also Steve and the other guy.. I think his name tag has a g in it very happy those place exists and I'm even more thankful for the people. I love you guys and may God bless every one of your souls
THIS gay bar is NOT a safe space.
when woman are ridiculed for what they are wearing, making them feel less than or inferior to their male counterparts, I can not continue to support this bar.
I'm disgusted and confused.
It was open during the holidays and the drinks were great! The music wasn't bad either. Great staff and convenient location
Good service and large space. Best gay bar in SLC
Awesome place. There was an insanely long line to get into The Complex for the show we had tickets for. So instead of waiting, we decided to find a warm seat here for some libations. Every employee was kind and welcoming. Every patron was talkative and accepting. Very good experience. I learned that The Sun was the first gay bar in Salt Lake and that it merged a few years back with The Trapp Door, which is where this location currently is, and they renamed themselves The Sun Trap. It's not the cheapest place to drink, but because of it's vicinity to The Complex, there's no other competition around to steal our business. I'm sure anyone can come here and find warm and accepting hearts.
We came across this place randomly are were SO glad we did! What a great find!!!! The bartender was wonderful, drinks were reasonably priced (cheap even), the front bar was fun and low key, the back bar wasn't open yet but we really enjoyed playing pool and darts and other games with large tv's everywhere. There's a back patio that's gorgeous. When we were there, it was definitely a slower part of the day which was nice, but we could tell that place gets packed and i bet it's a blast. We will be back!!!!
