Moved into the Summit to start classes early for medschool, was absolutely no problem. Maintenance had fixed any issues we had before the first day of courses and we had all new carpet before the first month. Staff is friendly and relate well to college life. It's a great location, quality amenities (washer, dryer, and fully furnished), and at a price that's seriously fair.
The Summit is a very nice place to visit. The grounds are kept clean and the landscaping is kept up. The pool area is a nice place to hang out. The staff is very professional and have been very helpful when needed.
The Summit exceeded my expectations. I am really happy with my room selection though I haven't experienced winter here yet! The staff are responsive with maintenance (specially Brian from the maintenance team). I have placed two maintenance requests so far and they showed up within 12 hours maximum which is a plus point for this place. I wish they had stairs for the hill instead of the sliding walkways it would have made our lives easier during the summer or public holidays when the buses are not operating.
The Summit is great. Compared to other apartment complexes, the rooms are much bigger, and the prices for rooms with private bathrooms are lower than other complexes offer. Plus, utilities and maintenance are included, unless your block spends above $25 for the electricity, then you pay the extra. I am really impressed by the bus that runs every 10 minutes in the morning and once in 20 minutes the rest of the day. All the managers are cheerful and ready to help. And maintenance service guys are brilliant. They respond quickly and are very helpful. I am especially grateful to Brian for hanging my curtain rod! My window became beautiful due to him)
Recently moved in and so far I'm enjoying it. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff that is very good about getting back to you when answering questions (shout out to Rusty B. especially who has been a friendly face I could rely on while moving in). The shuttle to Ohio University is very helpful and even if you miss it, it's only a short walk to campus. The area is very nice, great workout room, beautiful and inviting pool, and friendly neighbors. Glad I moved here to the Summit!!
I lived at the summit for a year and it was one of the best years I spent in Athens while attending Ohio University. The buses were always on schedule and the fully furnished rooms made moving in and out a breeze! The people working for the summit were helpful as well, especially Rusty. He gave me some great suggestions for places to visit on campus and helped me move out! It was a great experience and I really enjoyed it.
I lived in the summit in 2014-2015 and had the absolute best experience of my life! It was my first time living on my own with roommates and I enjoyed every second of it. With all the ammenties and easily accessible staff, I never felt uneasy. My favorite part about living there was the 24/7 private gym specific for summit residents!
I lived at the Summit in 2012 & 2013. I absolutely loved it. Our apartment was so nice, clean, and updated. It was really nice to have a washer & dryer in our apartment and we all had our own bathrooms. My roommates and I will never forget our amazing times spent at the pool parties and in our spacious apartment. It was awesome that our utilities were included in our rent and also that the Summit provides a gym and tanning beds. Every time we went down to the gym, the office always had something cool to give away to us whether it was cups or tshirts. Just a really nice geasture. I really miss living in Athens but especially at the Summit.
The new manager at the summit Christopher Quolke has earned this 5 star rating! He treated me with the utmost respect, professionalism and care during my stay at the Summit. He also plans on improving the way the summit is run.
The whole community is well equipped, it has its own gym and swimming pool. The Summit team is very nice and helpful. I tried to sublease my room due to my graduation. The Summit team helped me a lot for my lease takeover process. It was a pleasant experience.
My student goes to OU and I didn't really trust the idea of them having their own place but after hearing about the utilities included in the cost of the rent and how everybody signs their own lease (so as a parent you are only responsible for your child) it definitely made me feel much better about him moving in with his friends. The manager in charge of lease paperwork is very thorough and made sure that as a parent I knew exactly what my child was getting in to. I feel very good about my child living there and I know they are excited about the apartment and amenities that are offered.
