Love the shops at The Summit. Great variety. We frequent Trader Joe's, Barnes And Nobles, Toys R Us, and the movie theater. Make sure to try Chuy's if you are hungry and grab some cheesecake for dessert at The Cheesecake Factory!!!

Heavily congested and traffic can be a nightmare however shops are nicest and most high end in Birmingham. Everything very clean, landscaped. Inside stores are decorated very high end and well staffed. Restaurants are mostly chains but still tasty.

I really enjoyed my time visiting the stores in this shopping center. They have a little bit of everything for everyone. Plenty of places to grab a bite to eat. It's obvious that people like coming here because it was absolutely packed. Finding parking was a bit difficult, but it could be because of the holiday season. There were traffic guards out directing traffic. The view, hence the name "Summit" is breath taking if you take a moment to enjoy it.

We went there with friends from the office to celebrate Boss's Day. The maple chicken sounded delicious so that's what I ordered. Five minutes later the waiter comes back and says they are out of it. How can you be out of something at 11 a.m. when the restaurant first opens?! I ordered the salmon it was not that good the vegetables that it came with tasted undercooked but I ate it anyway I was hungry. Will I go back? No! A friend of mine order her steak well done and when she cut into it it bled like I have been cooked rare. The manager came over and got her another one which was properly cooked.

Great selection of store and food options. Grounds are clean and well maintained. Some store are pretty high end (read: pricey) but there are also more moderate options as well. Movie theater is nice and less busy than some others in the area, but also has a smaller number of the super large screens than others. Trader Joe's was a cool addition. Overall I like shopping at the summit!

Great selection of stores and restaurants overlooking Birmingham. Had fun! Only issue is stores are very spread out and traffic can be busy. Not a lot of safe ways to leave your car and walk the entire place.

One of my favorite places to shop, dine and see movies. Love the shopping and food. PF Chang's is one of my favorite places. The theater is always clean and enjoyable. My grandson loves Johnny Rockets. I can always find what I am looking for at the Summit. The line is always long for the Cheesecake Factory, but worth it. Great parking, well lit and safe. Wonderful specialty shops as well.

It's a little difficult to review a whole mall. If the store you are looking for is there, that's a plus, and there are lots of stores here. There are several restaurants- some good some so-so.
The mall is near some of the best neighborhoods in Birmingham and reflects that with some higher class shops, but there are plenty of the average stores you see commonly.
Be warned: the layout of the parking lot is confused and at busy periods it can be very difficult to get around.response / report this review -

The best shopping mall in Birmingham. A great variety of shops and restaurants. There is also a movie theater and lots of parking spots.

The best outdoor shopping mall in the Birmingham area. A wide variety of shops; clothiers, name brand specialty shops, a bookstore, movie theater, and restaurants just to mention a few. Located just off hwy 280 & I-459.

Looks like Portland landed in Alabama. Ugg boots and yoga pants for days! Trader Joe's is a welcome sight. Didn't go into a lot of stores, but they do have plenty of places to spend your money! Lots of upscale places you won't find anywhere between Birmingham and Tallahassee.
