Amazing atmosphere, incredible food. My wife had the Cubano sandwich and I had a special dish, pork cheek on toast in an incredible sauce. The cocktails were inventive and delightful. The staff was friendly and service was quick. I highly recommend The Spotted Pig for a date night out or a weekend brunch spot.

Good sandwich and nice atmosphere, but service was okay I would say our waiter was little bit disoriented. still we could have our food within reasonable time, so it was okay, but group of people who were seated before us got food when we finished, so I felt really bad.

Cuban Sandwich with arugula salad:
It was good. sometime Cuban pulled pork sandwich becomes really soggy so I am not big fun of it but I would love to have this Cuban sandwich again.
They put pork shoulder, chopped pickles, prosciutto and Gruyere. It has a lot of flavor and I wanted to keep eating even though I was really full. Also I liked they use ciabatta!!!
Unfortunately, Arugula salad was ridiculously salty and I could not eat it.

The Spotted Pig has probably one of the top 3 burgers in the city. Perfectly seasoned and is topped with Roquefort cheese to add a real deep earthy flavor. It also comes with shoestring fries which are awesome.

The last time I went I got the Cuban sandwich instead of the burger (since they didn't have any available). I was surprised at how good it was and stacks up close to the burger.

Place usually has a wait, especially at busy times, but is worth the wait. Small bar on the bottom and upstairs where you can eat but they fill up quickly. No reservations.

Wow, just wow! Exquisite burger and relaxed atmosphere. Beer selection is small and well chosen. Espresso coffee is good. Service is down to earth and very good. Bob (waiter) and hostess made me feel welcomed and provided me with the right table and chair after a long walking day. Recommended.

This place was absolutely amazing and lived up to the hype. Great ambience and really cool interior decoration. Service was awesome.

We ordered 3 appetizers and I loved both the peppers and the chicken liver toast. Burger was really good especially if you like blue cheese, but I felt it was a little on the salty side.

Only downside is they seem really popular and would not seat us until our entire party arrived.

No reservations, put your name in and they'll send you a text when your table is ready. Had over to The Rusty Knot or Orient Express to grab a drink while you wait.

April Bloomfield's restaurant is totally worth the wait. It's a cozy space perfect for dates. Being seated upstairs in the back corner is one of the best spots in the restaurants. Fantastic cocktail and a menu that's always changing (I always get something different when I come here). The burger is fantastic, however everything here is excellent. I once had a slab of pork belly on some sweet potato mash that was out of this world.

I came here a few years ago and was quite unimpressed with the food, and a bit reluctant to return because of the prices. But eventually we did go back, and the same happened. Very overpriced for the quality of the food, which is nothing special. Very limited, and unconventional options on the menu, of which the chicken liver toast was my favorite. It almost seems like it's purposed to make you go for the $26 hamburger. ($26!!!!)
It's located in a very nice area, great for a quiet stroll before/after lunch, and the place itself is quite cool, the decor and atmosphere are very unique. But if the food and the price of a restaurant are so-so, what's the point? Just because it's owned by celebrities?

I went here on a recommendation from a friend. Getting there at 7:30pm, my fiancé and I were told the wait could be up to an hour and fifteen minutes. We stuck around and hoped it would be shorter, which it was. After 30 minutes we were seated.

The place was small and you're literally sitting inches away from the table next to you. Luckily, that didn't bother us too much. It was neat to see all the pig stuff though.

We had ordered a crunchy pig ear salad, burger with a side of string fries, and their pig special for the night. The burger came out a bit more rare than I liked but was still tasty on a nicely toasted bun. The salad was a new mix of flavored but interesting. The pork entree was a bit dry but we did enjoy the bed of cream corn it was on.

Service was nice and friendly but the hostess could smile more.

I'm a burger eater, been to many places throughout the USA, specifically NYC. Not sure what the hype is about the spotted pig, but it definitely did not come close to reaching my expectations.

Burger was OK, placed on a potatoes bun, no lettuce, tomatoes, pickle or onion. Blue cheese as the only cheese of the restaurant not ideal for a burger in my opinion. It does comes with cool looking shoestring French fries, not too special either. Would prefer the Heinz ketchup, instead of of the fancy 1/2 serving that comes in a small serving dish.

For $26 I could twenty better places in the city to go to for much less. Don't waste your money here.

THAT Burger, best meat quality. Simple jet delightful. Everything else is as good. But remember its not a "cheap" place but you get what you pay for.

Why one star when this place gets so much hype? Well let me explain, and to preface this review, I was raised by chefs and have been to many of the best restaurants in the north east.

I'd like to start out by saying that the host and server were both excellent. Our server was warm, friendly, knowledgeable, kind, patient, and attentive. She tried her best to work with the kitchen for me but they were sadly, extremely unwilling to cooperate. We left her a very good tip because we knew none of the issues we experienced were her fault.

My partner and I, who have eaten here twice cannot eat dairy. We found out very much to our disdain that the chef is extremely unwilling to alter any dish for people who cannot eat dairy.

Now I understand not to ask for a dairy free calzone or pizza but we eat out probably 4 nights a week and 99% of the establishments we have given our business to have always tried within reason to accommodate the quite common dietary restriction of not being able to eat dairy.

They will not serve you a burger without cheese, in fact the waitress told me they won't even serve it without fries as many people ask for vegetables instead of fries.

I was told that if I wanted a dish without cheese or any other dairy component I had to order the entire dish and scrape the cheese off myself or simply order the whole fish entree and not eat the components that contain dairy Seriously? Maximum snobbery has been achieved.

They will not serve any entrees that come with dairy components without the dairy. Example: I wanted to order a fish entree that had some parsnip puree and cumin carrots. The parsnip puree had heavy cream in it, so I asked for extra carrot and no puree. The chef refused! They also would not remove any other dairy components from any other fish entree, so I was literally only left with one option, skate, which did taste very good but the portion was quite skimpy.

Our bill for food and cocktails for two skinny guys was about $175 before tip. For this price, or even at any price really, we would expect management to be more friendly to customer requests and less pretentious about refusing to alter any of their dishes to fit dietary restrictions. The food quality is good, but the level of snobbery from the management here regarding refusing to alter dishes is downright rude, terrible customer service. Thankfully our lovely waitress made the experience enjoyable, if I could rate her separately I would give her 5 stars.

I took a date to The Spotted Pig for a bite to eat and a few drinks. This place is a British gastropub, and it gets popular, so I recommend avoiding the crush, because the waits can get long. However, there's a reason for this, and it's because the burgers are superb. This is what I have every time, and it never disappoints! They use fresh and local ingredients, and it shows. I have never had a tastier burger. They also cook the burger to perfection; I get tired of charred hockey pucks at other places. The waitstaff are friendly and unpretentious. They were attentive, but also let us linger over our drinks for a long time. And the decor inside is funky and charming! All in all this was a great visit to a great place to get a burger.

We arrived on a late Monday night were immediately seated upstairs. The ambiance is amazing; walls adorned with cool pig-related stuff and anything else worth sparking up conversations over.

The food was stellar and a great reference point if you've spent years trying out April's recipes. The ricotta gnudi is a must for any foodie traveling to this city. Then again their fried pig's ear salad in itself a mecca of a dish.

They served us stellar cocktails to go along with our meal, our server was just as amazing, sending us off to great cocktail joints around the neighborhood.

The food was good, and the place was packed. I liked it, didn't love it (a little over-hyped). I really wanted the burger, but it wasn't available that night. The service was amazing, though. The waiters were all very helpful. One thing that drove me insane: stools as chairs! People with back issues would not be able to eat here.
