Hotel is well maintained, however does carry it's age. The restaurant/store is unique and worth the stop alone. This is a better option than a national hotel.

One of the best places I have been in quite a while! The food is delicious! The service is very good! Good place to explore! Plus, free music on Friday and Saturday night. Visit! Its worth the drive!

We had a ball! We stayed in a 1 bedroom cabin with our little girls (3&5). The room was nice and spacious enough, especially for such a good price. A fireplace and Jacuzzi tub was icing on the cake! The cherry was their restaurant and trading post! We will be going back regularly with our little family! Close enough to Chatanooga that we would drive there for the touristy attractions, and the cabin was out far enough where you could enjoy some nature!

I knew what to expect already having seen the place. The cabins are not secluded, but do afford some privacy. It worked really well for our purposes - as a base for day hiking. Check-in was easy and the cabin was clean. Door lock didn't work properly and the hot tub (large bath tub) wouldn't fill before running out of hot water.

The rooms are nice & big but the heat/AC units are too small. The temperature has really dropped last night and it took from 10:30 at night until about 5 in the morning for the room to get warm. Back the place is really unique and nice overall. The restaurant and Country Store are really old fashioned and interesting to browse.

Oh, there are no microwaves or hair dryers in the room. There is a refrigerator tucked away inside a cabinet and even an ironing board and a small single cup coffee maker. The bath towels are really huge and plush.

The cabin we had was great. It has a regular stove and refrigerator, with cups, plates, silverware and pots and pans. Great fireplace, they supply the wood. Besides normal bathroom it has a big jacuzzi tub, that's kind of a tight fit for 2. Lots of hiking trails, 3 waterfalls within 20 miles . The restaurant has great barbecue. Friendly helpful staff. Pet friendly, $10 extra a night.

This was a wonderful place to stay, and I wish we could have stayed longer! The staff was friendly for check in. The room itself has a bit of a smell, but the place is made from wood. My guess is cedar. The room wasn't cleaned too well, but the beds were nice, had good a.c., etc. The bathroom door was to big for the frame so you had to slam it closed and then try and break your way back out. They have a nice restaurant on site that also delivered to your room. Inside the restaurant they also have a nice store. There is a pool, and a playground for kids. They are also pet friendly!

The Room was very clean and very modern had hardwood floors instead of dirty carpet The beds were very comfortable with pressed white clean sheets.. I got a good deal on the room short notice, $60 for 1 night, my wife said "there's no way she's staying in a roach motel", but was completely shocked when we got there and said "this is the best looking room she's ever stayed in under a $100".. We both highly recommend it.

A nice place for the money. Rooms were comfortable and close to where we were visiting. We stayed in the lodge but walked around the property and the cabins look nice. The cabins are more updated than the lodge. The lodge rooms are not sound tight, so thankfully our neighbors and we went to sleep at the same time, because we could hear them through the adjoining door. The room was clean and suited our needs and the price can't be beat.

I stayed in one of the cabins and it was wonderful. There was so much character to the whole place and i would love to go back again. The only thing for me was that every time I moved the bed squeaked so sleep wasnt that great but overall I loved it.

Needs a little renovation but the food at the restaurant is well above average. Employees are efficient and understanding, even when I was not. 3 and a half to four star. Not too bad in a pinch.

The lodging facility and location is a wilderness buff's dream come true! Plenty out of the way from the usual rat race, and a nice clean room/cabin with beds as comfortably equivalent if not more so than a 5 star suite. That in itself being a rarity with most every standard rated lodging facility whose beds are hard as a rock; and also serving as the premise of whether or not my family and I ever return.

The restaurant now, that's a whole new proportional level of country dining with a taste and experience that is next to none. The smoked chicken was the best I've ever had.

The entire staff is plainly some of the sweetest, most hospitable and generous souls with just as much quality service and genuine Southern charm. My family and I will go way out of our way to come here again.

Ate the buffet, Food looked good, tasted good, and was very reasonably priced. The only improvement would have been a better dessert bar. Desserts were very limited and fruit was a tad past its prime. Great atmosphere.
