As long as you’re ok with the distance from FSU, this is the best of the best when it comes to student housing. The front office staff is amazing and upper management really cares about your experience as a resident. I’d recommend Redpoint Tallahassee to any student looking for student housing that is just that—a home.

i loved this place since i moved here last year but ever since i resigned at the cottage crawl last year it made me appreciate where i lived even more. I went to the office to get some names of people who helped and i just wanted to share a list of people who helped. Jourdan, Megan, Kassidy, Angie, Daizsa, Dalton, Jack, Nicole, Katherine, Jakob, Laura, and the people who deserves the most recognition, the maintenance people. Calvin, Tim and Nelson. All of these people have helped this year so much and some of these people helped last year too. If you are someone who is thinking about moving here and you get to speak with these people, you are lucky. And if redpoints corporate is reading this, Yall got lucky with your team at this property. 1,000,000 stars.

i moved my son into redpoint last year and the people were very helpful and knew the property very well. i talked to the leasing manger, Katherine and she was amazing. I wish i could give more names but the whole staff was amazing. This year my son ended up moving apartments and the fact that he was able to do most of it by himself and all i needed to do was sign my name really goes to show how easy the transition was. Love this place!

I first signed at redpoint last year and i felt very welcomed here and never had a problem with anything. Last year i talked to Kassidy and katherine at the cottage crawl about resigning and within the day i ended up resigning and they were amazing. I switched apartments and the transition was fawless. since moving i have talked to meg a lot and she has been very helpful too. If i could give 6 stars i would!

Don't let these negative reviews fool you, a lot of people are mad because they don't know how to clean their apartment before they leave. Great place to live! The staff is super helpful and friendly, very connected community. One of the best pools in Tallahassee and they have really fun events for residents. 10/10 would recommend living here!

Love the apartments. The staff has major attitude sometimes, and on several occasions I’ve seen their staff park in the only like 5 spots near the clubhouse, so you basically can’t find anywhere to park during the day because the staff takes every spot. Other than that, I and my friends have never really had any serious complaints about this place.

Parking could be better, BUT the community center is super rad. Tons of natural sunlight and an easy sort of vibe. Free coffee and vending machines available as well

I love the individual housing style! I don’t have any complaints. Super pet friendly, so much space, maintanence and management do their best to get stuff done, definitely getting what I’m paying for with the amenities, all the free food from events, and the apartment itself looking almost new. My favorite thing would have to be the dog park though.. so much easier having a dog with you in college when your apartment isn’t ripping you off with outrageous fees and there’s a pretty large place for him to play in your back yard. OH! And I have a private balcony all to myself off of my bedroom. so that’s pretty neat.

The Republic seems like a great place to live in but don't be fooled. While they flaunt how they "care" about their residents, they really have not proven this to be the case. I once had to live in a house full of roaches because the management did not do anything to help us with this situation. They wouldn't even hire a private exterminator!! The amenities are minimal (small gym, no real study rooms) and the maintainence requests take up to weeks to be answered. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything. I personally do not know what they do with the money that the residents pay for their rent because they barely do any resident activities/giveaways/programs. Trust me, better to save your money and live at another place that will actually provide you with more care and attention.

I've really enjoyed my time at The Republic, the community itself is so friendly and well kept. I especially love the common area in the club house, the front desk provides free coffee and tea, and it is the perfect study environment. The pool is awesome as well, it is kept super clean and is always relaxing. I would definitely recommend living here!

Living at the Republic has been a great experience. In comparison to most student housing that I've lived at, this was defiantly my top choice. The staff is friendly and always helpful, whenever I had a serious problem the management was super patient and whiling to sit and discuss my concerns.

The pool is well kept, pet park walking dist, they have events going on for the residence ever so often, like any complex there is going to be problems in the apartments but the maintenance is quickly on top of making everything work as it should. Its a bit of a drive but better than living in an apartment with endless flights of stairs and you get a whole house to yourself, the privacy is great.

For student housing- this is defiantly a great choice.

I love the republic! They keep the yards really nice and maintenance is really helpful when you have a problem! The front desk staff are all very nice and helpful! All the amenities are nice especially the pool! Its always kept clean!

Worst living experience of my life. Management is horrible and will not help you with any serious complaints. Roommate matching is terrible as well. The walls in the homes are paper thin and you can hear every little thing that is going on in the house. It is also far to expensive for what you receive, there are so many other complexes in tallahassee that will offer better quality for less price.

The worst part about living here was having my apartment robbed (along with several of our neighbors) over the summer while I was back home with family. They had broken into the electronic lock system in my bedroom and my roommate's and stole EVERYTHING including the TV off of my wall. The worst part was that I was never even notified by management about this robbery that affected several buildings. I didn't even find out until I went to move out my stuff and realized it was all gone. So if you value any of your personal belongings DON'T live here.

I love living here! If I had to suggest student housing for prospective students it would be here. Every cottage is unique and beautiful with new appliances and granite counters. It's really comfortable and safe and always a fun time. :)

Living here is great! Some things do need updated such as the carpet throughout the entire house. But besides that I have a very spacious room and closet, with a balcony. The people at the front desk are rude sometimes. The gate makes the complex nicer since this isn't the best area to live in. There is so much space in this house and that's definitely something I was looking for.
