We needed some concrete work at our house so we were advised by my sister in law to contact JC. I called him and set up an appointment but when he arrived at my house I recognized him to be the concrete man I had met some years ago while he was doing work at the Aloft Hotel in downtown Asheville and JC took us to a basement that he had done for another contractor named Jeffrey Makey whom has a review listed here but what we saw was a fabulous, acid stained basement so we contracted our basement, driveway, acid staining, sidewalks, etc. When JC was done we were all greatly satisfied. We recommend JC to any and everyone. This is a great man to work with. Thanks JC

Would not recommend unless you want an expensive nightmare. As you can see in the pictures below, the concrete is was not level, in fact it was off by 2 and half inches front to back and was not even on sides. his estimate for concrete was off by half the price the expected price due to being poured way to thick. The front is over 6 inches above the ground and the back is 2 and half feet. Plus one of his forms broke in the middle of the pour. He didn't pick up after himself as we had cigarette butts, chicken wing bones, and drink bottles everywhere. Now as the building is being built they are having problems because the pad is not square and is not even. The material cost over $2000 more than expected, work was spotty, and he was difficult to work with on this job. Very dissatisfied and made that known to him at the time. He went as far as to threaten me, so I now have had to install a 4 way camera system and security system.

The Real JC Concrete was contacted by my warranty company for a repair to a concrete pad over my newly repaired sewer line. I decided I would like to have done concurrently a 9' x 10' concrete patio at the foot of my exterior stairs at my own expense. Jeff accepted the small patio job (which some companies will not accept) and quoted an a very good price for the patio. He and his crew were punctual and professional, and on both items did a most excellent job! The patio is just as I wanted it, I am very pleased! I would definitely recommend The Real JC Concrete.
