Worst management I have dealt with. It has been 6 months since my lease was up and I vacated the place and still have not received my deposit back. I keep calling them at office and they keep saying they don't know! Most unhelpful people in the office. !
My wife and I are visiting Pittsburgh, possibly the only time in our lives; we’re amazed by all the beautiful architecture in this city. The lady at the door treated us like garbage: we explained we love architecture, we just wanted to see the beautiful interior court through the glass door, we didn't even want to go inside, but she wouldn’t even let us look through the glass door for 5 seconds, she ushered out as if we were criminals. What a nasty way to treat people. So incredibly rude.
Beautiful.
I just noticed the start of what looks like a hallway renovation by the new owners - horrifying! The paint is light bluish grey with dark blue trim and the carpet is navy with this colorful zig-zag print. It's cheap and tacky and looks like it belongs in a suburban movie theater. Please don't destroy this beautiful historic landmark with "trendy" and "modern" updates. Also, they barely heat the hallways in the winter and the utility expenses are very high. On a positive note - the new gym renovation is very nice.
I went there to look at apartments and they treated me like dog poop before they ever did a showing. I was so disgusted I walked out.
This is an amazing place. This building is one of the historical tourists destination. The management is very good. Maintenance requests are taken care very seriously. I had my kitchen sink fixed right away. This building has apartments with both upgraded and old appliances. Its right next to the train station and in downtown but i never had any problem with noise. I cannot hear my neighbors which is a big issue in other buildings. Its complete soundproof. The best part is its high ceilings and 14 ft windows which do open. Overall its best choice you have got if you want to live it Pittsburgh downtown.
I called this building love for two years and loved every minute of it! The doormen were incredibly friendly. The management encouraged tenants to get to know their neighbors by organizing summer and holiday parties. One summer there was a movie shot in the lobby and there were numerous beautiful events held all summer long.
I used to wake up and watch the lights turn on in the UPMC building downtown every morning If you have the opportunity, you should definitely make this building home for awhile. :) I wish I could find a place in Manhattan with as much charm as this place.
