Decent sandwich for the price. Fast and friendly service.
Just ordered two classics, one with no bologna, got two bologna sandwiches. Great first experience. It felt like we went through a time warp into the late 70's, I'm not sure who would ever want to feel that (people didn't even want to feel that back in the late 70's). $20 worth of critter food. Hopefully opossums like oddly flavored bologna sandwiches.
Gave 2 stars because even though the order was completely wrong, it was edible food and the cashier was nice enough.
Suburbia's subs are delicious! Their bread and vegetables are always fresh. The management is fast, efficient and meticulous. The staff is welcoming, courteous and helpful explaining their flavorful sub menu.
Always an amazing experience here! The sandwiches never get old! The staff is always friendly and welcoming! Definitely 10/10
Thankful that some things do stay the same! Suburpia features the same great sandwiches that began their legacy in the late 60's. I remember as a feature of my teen years Now I can have the same experience as then and I do about 3 times a month. Best sandwiches ever!
A blast from the past. Pretty much how I remember it from the early 70s. Unique taste and Messy! Satisfied that 30 year craving!
This rating is from many, many years ago when they were in Madison, Wisconsin. When I pulled up on google this restaurant, I noticed there was an Original Suburpia and then Suburpia. I did read that someone had noticed it didn't quite taste the same as years ago. Well, that is because they don't have the original spices recipe. I know I called one of them from Madison recently, and they said they were coming back to Madison. The same sandwiches and taste. Well, it can't be the same taste.
Stopped in for lunch. Sandwich excellent as usual however.not one table was clean. Customer's needed to wipe tables if they wanted to sit. Floor in dining area was also dirty.
Great
subs, especially the Miles Standish. Great "secret sauce". Follow directions on how to eat sandwich, you'll regret of you don't
We first started going to Suberpia in Milwaukee in the late 60's and early 70's when my husband was in college. (we were from Amherst). We loved it then and still do. We try to get there every time we come to Milwaukee.
Went this week for a sub and the bread was hard. I mentioned it to the owner thinking they would make me a new sandwich, instead he offered a free soda at my next visit. I was told the bread is sometimes hard, that's a first in th 40+ years I've been eating these subs. As much as I love these subs, I'm not sure I'll go back.
Sandwiches are the best! NO ONE beats the unique tasty sandwiches. Kodos! To whoever makes them, they are always on point. Bluemond Road store is the best.
Fantastic sandwiches. My go to place when I can't decide what I want to eat. The mushroom brie soup is really good.
I love Suburpia. The sandwiches are unique, and the staff have always been nice when I've been there. The new sit-down area is a nice expansion.
Quaint, urban eatery. The simple menu offers great tasting sandwiches. Staff is always pleasant and the prices are fair. Call ahead for pickup, otherwise you may wait a few minutes. Classic Milwaukee
