Very tiny place. Gorgeous jewelry, but it seemed like this designer could have a much larger volume of business in a different location. It felt a little too far out of the way for such a small place to make a special trip to. Don't get me wrong, if you love opals, or rainbow infused jewelry, these pieces will blow you away. I think this store would do much better in a higher traffic area and in a town with a higher income bracket. Maybe Nashville would be a good place. It's a super cute building though. It's like a tiny stone cottage in the forest, but without the forest.
Love the shop, selection, my bracelet I decided on and the staff is so nice and knowledgeable!
Stopped by and the gentleman polished my ring I purchased years back, was very nice that he took the time to help me on the spur of the moment. My daughter also purchased, very happy with employees.
My wife is really into rocks and minerals. As we drove by, we thought the store would be a more general selection of such with a cute name. We were delightfully wrong, the selection is truly all opal, of many wonderful origins and beautiful cuts. The sales space is jewelry store. The staff was very friendly and took the time to share with us some of the history and masterfully crafted pieces. They made us feel welcome, despite probably looking a little underdressed as we had just woken up, and pulled in in our old 89 camper van. I know who I'm buying a piece from when the time comes.
I absolutely love my ring from The Opal Man! They have the most beautiful selection of genuine Opals. It is clear that each piece created here is made with love and superior attention to detail. I purchased my ring more than a year ago, and recently I bent it up pretty badly. I live in another state, so I wasn't able to drop my ring off in person. I communicated via email correspondence with Mark at The Opal Man, and he was able to give me all the information I needed to send my ring and payment to their studio for repairs and refurbishing. The cost of repairs was less than Mark had originally estimated, and they were able to accept a personal check. I just got my refurbished ring in the mail this morning, and I am just floored with the quality of craftsmanship and care devoted to bringing my ring back to life. I hope to visit The Opal Man every time I travel to that part of the country.
