Probably my favorite outdoor venue. If a band you like is playing there don't miss it

$20 for parking is extortion. My review will change when this evil practice changes.

Parking aside, the sound quality is pretty good for an outdoor amphitheater and the seats are nicely arranged so that most are covered by the roof and there really isn't a bad seat in the place- the lawn included! The performance line up is always great too.

Beautiful spot in the city to hang and meet people/listen to live music. Can't go wrong with a park/woodsy setting.

I danced in the back of the crowd while most others remained seriously seated.
Security interrupted my concert experience twice.
First time, one guy was in my face asking me if I was on drugs.
Second time, as I was walking to the bathroom another man approached me and bothered me.

Laughable, like they've never seen a person drink, or dance

I left halfway through the show due to harassment.
Lay off security. It's called having a good time

LOVED the design of the place - all wood, which is wonderful for the acoustics. I was seated to the right of the orchestra, could tell the acoustics the center (like always) so it lost a star for that, but besides that everything was great, there was good available, you can bring your own food, and the staff is marvelous! (I went to see the Philly Orchestra perform Jurassic Park live, totally recommend for any movie they do!!!

The venue is beautiful. The restroom was a little smelly, but it looked clean. We needed the Handicap Parking but we're told by the woman taking the parking tickets that it was full but we found out that she outright lied and it was not full. I would like at least a half refund on the $20 fee as it was a real hardship parking where we were told. The acoustics up in the handicap section of the balcony were great and we could see the stage perfectly. Another problem was with the ticket seller on the phone who said only 2 seats per handicap section when there was clearly room for at least four. We were given the 3 required after some discussion. I would go there again.

What a fabulous venue! It was all so clean. Patrons and workers alike were all so courteous. No overflowing trash or nasty toilets. The grounds were beautiful, the beer choices were beyond the typical, and the acoustics were above comparison! I laid on the grass and listened to beautiful music wash over me. And what a view of the city! It was a magical night!

I've been here many times going back to the 70s and many times recently. It's a great venue for music. But I don't recall ever paying such exhorbitant service charges for tickets via the Mann Ticket Center website. $31.50 per ticket. Then they will charge $20 for parking. Maybe if I had the patience I could find a more reasonable ticket seller. It might pay to shop around.

My personal favorite music venue for any kind of artist. You haven't really experienced Fairmount Park until you saw a show at The Mann.

My favorite outdoor concert venue in the area. Every seat has a good view, and great sound. For the events I attended, the ticket prices were fairly cheap.
