Beautiful walking all year round. Check out the Weatherby house ruins along the way. Look from a distance because it’s taped off. Amazing old house was destroyed by fire years ago. Check out the double fireplaces on three levels. Nice picnic table overlooking the Maurice River. Kids will love it!

This place always is worth the walk through! One of the best scenic spots in cumberland county with lots and lots of views points of the river and surrounding area. Miles and miles of trails for the ready hiker to enjoy and get accustomed to for more strenuous hikes in the future.

Cleaner than other parks in NJ, keep it that way. These trails are fascinating, the forest changes before your eyes as you get closer and further from the river. Great for hiking and mountain biking. Over 8 miles of trails in total, with many outlooks over the river. Picnic spots and boat landings. There are many birds to see, Osprey, Bald Eagles, and waterfowl.
