This place has promise bit the for on the lunch buffet was all a bit bland. I would still be interested in trying something off there menu to see if the quality improves. Good decor though with large windows

The Maharaja serves up very tasty and consistent indian food. They are usually busy at dinner hours but are fast and efficient and I have never had to wait for very long for a table. I have been coming here a few times a year for many years and they never dissapoint.
The menu is full of the standard dishes you find at North Indian restaurants but they seem to do it all perfectly.
I will be back again.

Below par , sub standard food. Being in Cambridge it's overrated because of being at a popular place like Harvard square. They served us raw uncooked chicken which I found out because I couldn't even tear it from the bone with all my force , let alone chew it. The servers were rude and made us feel uncomfortable.

One of the better sit down Indian places around Cambridge. Prices are good for what you get and the food is really tasty. They also have a good number of well labeled gluten free options.

I really enjoyed my dinner here. Food came out piping hot and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Next time I would ask for the vindaloo to be spicier. Looking forward to visiting again.

Wow !! Best Indian food I've ever had and I've eaten a lot of Indian food. Servers were attentive. I am stuffed and happy. When you're done with lunch relax in the park just outside in the shade. Anytime I'm in the Boston/Cambridge area this is a must stop.

Maharaja is probably the best Indian buffet in town. Huge selection, very well prepared, nice white tablecloth seating and the restaurant has huge windows overlooking the street below. It is priced slightly higher than other buffets in town but well worth it. Service is also excellent and highly recommend it for lunch.

Best Indian food in the area with great ambience. It gives you a feel of high end indian restaurant just like back in India. I tried vegetarian curries which was very authentic, freshly prepared and delicious..also service was good as well. I would definitely be visiting this place more often now, only thing which is bit downside is finding parking in this area. Restaurant definitely deserves all stars.

The food was okay. I got the lamb biryani it didnt have as much flavour as I expected. A huge portion tho. Fair for the price of $16.96.

Service was decent and nice. Quite the view.

Had an amazing dinner with some friends. Food was great! And the service was even better, thanks to our server RajKumar. He was very friendly and helpful and had an extensive knowledge of the menu. Loved the experience!

They have the best lunch buffet in Cambridge. The view of Harvard square is also very unique and beautiful. The wait staff are very attentive in friendly. One of my favorite places- I wish I could go more often! It does get quite crowded on the weekends, but the wait is never long.
