  My boyfriend and I stayed at the Lumber Baron Inn for veterans weekend and had the most phenomenal experience possible. The dinner we had was high class and delicious, the room was romantic and beautiful, and the breakfast was also amazing! Especially the English muffins and jam! But most importantly the owner Joel was the most courteous man we could have asked for. He served us our meals with class and humor and after dinner he started the fire pit and got me a blanket so I could sit outside with my boyfriend I️ was going to wait in the room but he went out of his way to make me comfortable! Best experience possible and we will visit plenty more times!

  Exceptionally friendly staff, absolutely delicious breakfasts, and very cozy rooms. The staff was very accommodating and I never felt anything but welcome and wanted as a guest. The hotel was stunning and well-maintained. I'll be coming here again.

  This bed and breakfast was so cute, we even got the "haunted room" and we didn't even know. The only thing that happened was my boyfriend saw a shadow at the end of our bed and then he took a double look and there was nothing anymore. The customer service was awesome! We were even able to smoke a blunt and take some dabs in the cute back yard. We got delicious free breakfast and wifi. We will be returning.

  My mom has stayed here twice in the last two years on her visits out to Denver, this place is fantastic. Joel, the owner, is extremely accommodating and has kept up with the place very nicely.
  
  They now offer a three course dinner here and the menu is amazing. Even if you aren't staying here, you've got to stop in and have a meal. I had the Scottish Seafood Stew for my entree, it was one of the best seafood meals I've ever had (and that's coming from a seafood LOVER!). The rest of my group had various items from the menu and all were just as tasty.
  
  The Lumber Baron Inn is a must see and must stay! My next visit will have to be for brunch!

  They now offer brunch on weekends and 3-course wine dinners on Thu Fri and Sat nights at 6pm and 8pm. Reservations required. We did the wine dinner once and it was truly spot-on perfect. Going back again soon. Be sure and tour the mansion while there. Incredible historic hidden gem.

  Had my nephew's outdoor wedding ceremony and reception there last evening. Was a wonderful experience in gorgeous surroundings with a great staff and catered Mexican dinner. The house is beautifully maintained. Somewhat difficult for the elderly or once you have had a few as the stairs are steep and narrow and the pavers and sidewalks are very uneven.

  Wish I could give a higher rating than 5! Just an all around fantastic experience. Stayed in the honeymoon suite, which was one of the nicest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. Antique furniture everywhere, attention to detail with amenities, and lots of original wood from when the mansion was first built. The staff and management were just fabulous, accommodating and extremely friendly. Joel was extremely professional and friendly. Gave us a great tour of the mansion full of historical facts. Should also be noted that he is a GREAT CHEF!!!! I 100% recommend this Inn.

  Beautiful building in a great neighborhood. The breakfast was magnificent! Joel is a wonderful host; ask him for the house tour. We had a big jetted tub in our room which made for a good soak after a day of exploring.
