The waiter was nice.. but when it became busy he was less attentive drinks are a little weak but still really good. Overall I really enjoyed my experience

They have a terrible food score. The food was ok at best. I think people really go there because it's a great atmosphere and it's "trendy." However if you're looking for an amazing food experience try somewhere else. The staff are super nice.

The best steak and eggs I've ever had. Grits were so creamy and complemented the meal well. Didn't care for the salad though. I had 2 of their variations on the Bloody Mary. One was much spicier than the other but still tasty. The place was so crowded when we walked in that there were some waiting in the rain outside. We had seats at the bar after being told there would be a 30 min wait for a table. I see why this place is so popular for Sunday brunch, mostly the college crowd. Friendly bartenders and amazing food.

The food is phenomenal! I don't know what others are talking about with regards to portions, it's not a buffet.
Overall experience was fab, great staff, 5 star food and the cocktails are to die for.

Food is to die for. Portions are small, but no worse than usual for fine dining. Prices very reasonable considering the high quality. Cocktails so fancy, I had to look up half the ingredientsbut they turned out just as delicious as they were pretentious. For the record, when I eat at a place like this, I WANT pretention! Service was great, both friendly and attentive. I loved The Lawrence and will be sure to return next time I'm in the area!

Came here around 6pm and no lines or wait. My server was attentive and was knowledgeable about the menu.

I ordered the grilled melon for the appetizer which was unexpectedly delicious. Hot Brie with cold melon and jalapeño. Who would of thought of that.

The cauliflower falafel was fantastic. Layers of eat and crunchiness and yet still soft. Careful though it crumbles.

Will definitely come back.

Decent food. But long wait for our reserved table and the absolute WORST staff. I have never had a more disheartening experience as a customer. Both our server and the manager were both very rude and highly unprofessional. Very unfortunate for such a beautiful place. Many in our party had been to the restaurant before however none of us will be returning.

Fantastic rotating menus and classic cocktails made by some of the best bartenders in midtown. You can enjoy the show of the cocktail creation nearly as much as the drinks themselves. The Lawrence has a great wraparound patio perfect for lunch and dinner with friends.

I was really excited to try The Lawrence. While the cocktails and food were delicious, I have to say, everything felt completely overpriced. The portions for the food are almost laughable. My date and I ordered the deviled eggs, and we paid $6 for an egg and a half. What is with the odd numbered portions is this a meal for ants?! We also ordered the charred cauliflower "steak" entree for $16. That was the most expensive piece of cauliflower I think I've ever consumed. The entree consisted of a one inch thick slab cut from a head of cauliflower drizzled with some sauce. The flavors were divine, but I would hardly consider that an entree. To wrap this up, my date and I essentially ended up spending $100 on 4 drinks and some overpriced, fancy vegetables. We left hungry and resorted to making sandwiches at home. The culinary quality is definitely there, however the quantity is seriously lacking. It's unlikely that I will be back.

Great food! The will always be a wait for brunch places that close around 3. Waited for about 45 min on a rainy day. Wasn't too bad if you go with great friends and get a drink from the bar. Definitely gets loud bc of the small space, but I didn't care. I came to eat! 😊

Our waiter was helpful and attentive and took great care of us at our outside table location. We had the salmon chips and oysters for an appetizer then rolled into our meal. The shrimp and grits were awesome and I got to try part of the scallop special and hanger steak from my friends' plates. The scallops were also yummy. Later I had a portion of a chocolate raspberry cheesecake at the bar inside. Super service from Emma who showed us a variety of small batch bourbons. An evening at The Lawrence was a great experience.

Breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, late night - you name it, the Lawrence does it well. Their food is prepped with great care and served with a flourish. Every member of the staff I have ever come across has been pleasant and prompt and courteous. Their craft cocktails alone make the Lawrence a worthwhile place to go but the food isn't far behind. From their Wednesday night specials of oysters & gin to their delicious signature Lady Lawrence libation; the Lawrence is a must-see dining spot in Midtown Atlanta.
