A very honest straight forward lawyer who was really great to deal with. He helped make me realize that Lawyers can be really nice people and not arrogant as many lawyers seem to be. My first consultation with David Offen happened when I wasn't sure if bankruptcy was the right choice for my family. He listened attentively, asking questions, answering mine, explaining various options. I left his office with a strong sense that everything could be okay, again, if I hired him.

We had several more meetings that led me through the filing and signing procedures. David's availability and responsiveness were remarkable. He was very patient, answering all my questions, and most of all, working for several months with a very challenging private lender who was relentless in his foreclosure proceeding.

In the end, I was able to modify my mortgage, keep my home, my investment property and get rid of an extremely large amount of small business debt. I am very happy about the outcome.

I was in a serious jam with my financial situation. Especially with tax season coming closer. I was expecting a good refund but was in fear of losing it to offsets. My Attorney who I use for everything recommended Mr. Offen to represent me in my bankruptcy case because he is the best in the business. That was the truth! He really is. My case was handled perfectly and professionally. When i was nervous about something, I would make a phone call over to his office and he would speak to me right away. No waiting around on hold or for a phone call back. Even after my case was discharged, I had some bills come in and he squashed it immediately. He genuinely cares about you as a person and wants you to have a good, prosperous life. I would recommend him and only him!!

I received at least 100 letters from lawyers when I fell behind in my mortgage. Out of all those I received, I randomly called David. When he actually took my call right then (I was expecting a secretary to take my info and someone would return my call) I was quite shocked. We made an appt, we went in not knowing what to expect. We were expecting a more uptight, stressful experience. We were immediately comfortable with him. He is very kind, not judging, and excellent at what he does. I have recommended him to friends and neighbors, and they've come back to thank me for recommending him. I went in there carrying the weight of losing my house, and left there, without any of that stress and worry. If you find yourself in this type of situation, go see David. David is one of the most respectful, honest, kind, understanding, and helpful lawyers I have ever dealt with. I found him five years ago when I was up to my eyeballs in financial trouble. He was understanding and explained the entire process to me thoroughly so there was no misunderstandings as far as next steps were involved or what was expected of me.
