I was here for dinner. I ordered a 6oz top sirloin medium rare, but the steak came out medium. I was disappointed and let the waitress know about. She asked if I want another one, but I declined. However, she informed the manager about it and he took it off my bill. That's why I gave it a 4. Otherwise, I will not come back again. Good service.
The service is hit and miss. Steak was good but nothing to brag about. I'd try it again to see if things improve.
Great experience for drinks and appetizers. We sat on the bar side at a nice table with four comfortable chairs. The selection of rum was better than average and the wait staff was polite and engaging. The food was prepared as expected and tasted great. I have been to the Keg many times in the past. I'm never disappointed by my choice. While not not on par with the best steak houses in Dallas, I would highly recommend for a very good steak close to home. This restaurant will remain in my rotation and you should add it to yours, as well.
Sat at the bar, full menu. Cody was our waiter/bartender, very attentive and great suggestions. Baked Brie was good but the bread that accompanied was better! Mixed green salad had lots of “stuff” with a vinaigrette dressing. We both ordered filet mignon (medium rare) well seasoned, cooked correctly. Overall, 5 stars. Well worth the price!
This is The KEG I know and love. As I am sure most know, if not now you will, The KEG is a Canadian chain. Me being Canadian I have eaten The KEG for a long time in the Toronto area. Every KEG I have been to in Canada has amazing food and it is always consistent regardless where you go in Canada. So, coming to Texas for vacation I was very excited to see The KEG and have a little taste of home while on an extended visit. However, after eating here, while the atmosphere is exactly the same, the quality of food is not. Not sure if The KEGs in the States have a different distributor than their Canadian counterparts, but the food is definitely NOT the same. Any Canadian or American that has had the pleasure of eating at a Canadian one would be able to tell the difference. It pains me to give a restaurant that I love and hold dear one star. While if you have never eaten at the Canadian KEGs the food may taste great, it will be ruined once you do. I hope that the food can come from where we receive ours in Canadian so the great people of Dallas and America can enjoy what The KEG can TRULY offervery disappointed. However, I do have to say Texans have some AMAZING food choices that I miss and hope to enjoy again! Can't wait to come back!
Wow, the service was great!. Kristin was phenomenal. The food was superb. My wife and I sat in their super huge bar/lounge area and was able to order off the full menu. We both had the bacon wrapped supreme chickrn and they were cooked perfectly. For desert you have to try the brownie and the carrot cake. Best experience ever and highly recommend to every one. Thanks Kevin the fridge Wood
Went to celebrate a close friend's birthday along with her family. The waitress, Taylor, initially appeared to be dry and unfriendly but she got better as we continued to dine, no complaints about her quality of service, just one suggestion, don't look so serious (learn to fake smile).
Anyway three steaks, in our party, were not cooked correctly and were sent back TWICE. You think the manager would come to our table to apolo-lie about the food ---No. You would think the manager would offer a dessert discount something for the inconvenience---No. Now my food was finebut it bothers me when a business does not value a customer's business, particularly return business. If customers don't return the business will fail. Needless to say, I will not be returning to the Keg, not because of my food, but the service was lacking. When people pay premium prices for a product, we want premium service. If the Keg does not improve in this area, it will not be at the Highlands for long, particularly when you can go to Salt Grass and get a steak of equal quality, prepared right, for less money. ---The extra 2 stars are for Taylor, otherwise, the establishment would have received 1 Star.
I have been losing my faith in the restaurant industry lately. Unknowledgable staff, sub-par service, non-friendly environment have all contributed to this loss of faith. My experience at the Keg has given me some hope. The staff was unbelievably polite and courteous, the food was terrific, the management was friendly and helpful. The staff was patient and helped me make a good choice. You can pay a ton for a good steak (and my experience with these restaurant has left me wanting) the Keg has the perfect price point, ambiance and staff to keep me satisfied when it comes to my dining needs.
Took my girl to eat here for the first time and I was very impressed from the lighting and decor to the friendly waiters and inviting atmosphere! My waiter ( don't remember his name) was very friendly and explained the menu to me and let me know about specials they had going on! We spent 100 on the two of us before tip and it was well worth it! Definitely recommend eating here if you haven't already!
Unfortunately, my husband likes the fried chicken. The place turns my stomach. It looks dirty. Frankly, the food is average. Every time that I have gone there are dirty adults with crying, dirty children who throw food and eat with their mouths open. I would not recommend it if you are looking for a relaxing evening and good conversation.
Just went here yesterday afternoon with my family in celebration for my sister's and husbands birthday. We made reservations, there was no wait just to set our table. Nice and elegant atmosphere. Waitress was amazing.. she went beyond her job duty. And the food.. was soooooo good.. my husband and sister ordered the steak.. my other sister and I ordered lobster and the kids had hamburger bites.. ALL THE FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING. .. I love this place better then Pappasito's. The pricing on the menu is priced high but its well worth every penny..
I love Comfort Suites hotels and this one in Arlington is certainly my favorite. We attend a lot of events at AT&T Stadium as well as Ranger Stadium and anytime we are in town this is where we stay. The hotel is very conveniently located, my husband and I even walked back from a Cowboys game one night, and we
I loved coming here. Literally once every week to two weeks. The food was always stellar and the service superb. Sadly they got rid of the of the high class menu items and swapped them with cheaper alternatives. My favorite item the two lobster tails is gone only to be replaced by salmon. Hugely disappointed.
Enjoyed dinner here so much. Great location. Amazing food. Every person on staff was very nice and helpful. Our waitress Isabel went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed from making sure we knew about the menu to double checking the drink I order was made right.Would highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back, and asking for her!
