I was really disappointed with my Thanksgiving dinner. My friend treated so it was not appropriate to make any remarks to the server. The turkey was moist but the gravy was so salty I couldn't eat it. The mashed potatoes were mixed not traditional and the stuffing had no flavor.
No apple or pumpkin pie, just a tiny slice of key lime.
Please fix the fish tanks. They are in terrible condition.
We enjoyed a good dinner here last year. However, my wife and I went to enjoy a nice anniversary dinner this year.we called ahead to see their hours on the day of our celebration and we're told they were open until 9:30. Upon arrival at 9 o clock we were told the kitchen was closed. Fine, slow night. We returned the following evening looking forward to the experience we had the previous year but received nothing but. When we arrived and told the hostess about our problem the night earlier it seemed to be an issue for them. We were seated however, but it would have been nice to be waited on. After 15 minutes of being ignored by all the waiting staff that we tried to flag down we got up and left. I guess showing up twice to spend our money wasn't good enough. The food here is good however we will not be returning as the management is terrible.
What a great dining experience this was! Although more informal than say Il Cielo, the food was beautifully presented and all in our party of 6 enjoyed their food choices immensely! One nice surprise was the option of choosing a wine flight. We were provided a list of wines from which to choose 4 options, and after sampling those wines, we were able to chose our favorite, at which point we were given a full glass of that choice, all for the low price of $20! What a bargain! Ekaterina was a delight in her presentation, and handled our group with aplomb.
You have to go there. Try the lobster bisque with Sherry. Great bread ,better salads, best entree s. If you like seafood you will not be disappointed.
The food is delicious, our server, Ekaterine, was very attentive and professional toward us. She took the time to answers all the questions and didn't rush us. We had wonderful food and the wine was great. "We Love Jacaranda".
I have been going to the Jacaranda for over 8 years now since I discovered the place. The food is amazing, great steaks, seafood, attention and the place itself feels like a home. The bar area towards the back is lively and the dining room areas are quieter if you prefer. Have over the years probably tried everything on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. Great drink selection as well.
Delicious food and friendly staff. JJ was very friendly and relatable. Outdoor room looked beautiful but was closed when we went. Will be visiting again when back in Sanibel
Dinner was very quiet and relaxing. We had the Jacaranda cocktail and it is delicious, especially for mango lovers. The fried shrimp was wonderful. Service was great. We went to the bar after dinner for live music and dancing.
Was there last night with my wife, 7yr old, 5yr old, and newborn. We sat on the patio which was the perfect temperature. The fans kept us cool and we could see and hear the music from inside. Our server was amazing. He was young but more professional than most servers I've met.
I ordered the chef's special which was a blackened cod, shrimp, and scallops over a mushroom risotto. Great portion, cooked well, and great flavor. Crab stuffed mushrooms and the ribeye skewers were 👍🏽
All around a threat experience. Service, atmosphere, food, and pricing all exceeded my expectations.
Service is slow and it took 30minites to get a salad! One of the salads was fishy and was not supposed to be. My onion we're cold. Also my steak was undercooked.
We ate here twice during our two weeks stay on Sanibel. Great food.good entertainment. Definitely will be back.
