Outstanding food. Excellent service. Best choice for fine dining in Sedalia.
The atmosphere was nice with the live piano music in the background but the grilled chicken breast that I ordered had too much black pepper on it.
This is a lovely romantic restaurant with lots of history. We went for Valentine's dinner and the atmosphere was very nice. My food was okay, my steak a bit over cooked and my potato under cooked. But, both were edible and to give them credit, it was busy. We would return.
Best atmosphere and best food hands down. The service is always great and the prices are reasonable especially for the quality of food served. The live harpest and pianist that are playing on some weekends and special occations are the icing on the cake. The grilled pork chop is the best pork chop I've ever had and the Ivory Grill fettuccine pasta and chicken is excellent as well. No complaints about this place and I'm a born critic.
Very good food and very nice atmosphere. Our waitress, Mary, was very attentive and friendly. Live piano music is nice touch. The Bothwell Hotel is beautifully decorated for Christmas. The woodwork at the hotel registration desk is very impressive.
Sorry, tonight was NOT a good experience. We've had great meals with you in the past, so we brought friends tonight to have a nice dinner. Took forever to even order, then things were incorrect, wrong salads, wrong drinks, way overdone steak and a pork chop very dry. Vegetable we ordered was "out" so something substituted without asking. Weak excuses about being understaffed with a large crowd, but should have been expected as it's State Fair week here. Offered a free dessert, which we didn't even want to try. It will be hard to get us back.
Everyone should treat themselves to a leisurely lunch at this delightful restaurant in the historic Bothwell hotel. The food is good and the ambiance is great. If you are ever lucky enough to be there on a day when cream of mushroom soup is on the menu, do yourself a favor and try a cup. It's the best I've ever had, bar none.
Sedalia Downtown , Top Adress for Dining
Excellent food and service, the prices are competitive with other sit-down restaurants in town.
This is one of the worst eating establishments I have ever been to! We waited over 1.5 hours to get our food and it was wrong! I got a steak that was undercooked and cold when it was served to me. I would not recommend this to anyone!
Great service! Ask for mary! The seafood ravioli and stuffed mushrooms are amazing! My husband had the ribeye and was impressed. Best margaritas in town. We left very satisfied.
Great food & drinks
Very good food and nice quiet place to enjoy it.
Went for a winding down beer. Was fun!
This place has really good food and a very unique theme.
Other than having to find the door since the road is under construction (it's on 4th street through the hotel entrance) excellent food and excellent service. I've never seen prices so low with such an up class environment. Old school 60s-70s jazz and love songs makes it a beautiful environment for a romantic dinner or lunch. I stopped by and am from Kansas city and was amazed to see the burger and fries with bacon for $7! I chose a side salad and no up charge! Wonderful environment, wonderful experience.
