Great place to stay..love the shop. Nice and cozy getaway
Rooms were clean and cozy. It was the perfect place to get away a "reconnect" with that special someone. My only complaint is the bed was a bit too hard for my taste.
The room and breakfast were perfect. Just what we needed on the way back from Chicago.
Property and rooms are beautiful and well kept. Some road noise from the nearby access but not bad. Water smells of sulfur (bad egg). Bottled water is not provided in the rooms with the coffee maker but is available for $1.00/bottle out in the hall. Breakfast is absolutely wonderful - thick sliced French toast, blueberry muffin cooked and served in a mini terra-cotta (flowerpot), a fruit cup (oranges and grapes) with whipped cream, orange juice. Guests make their own coffee with supplied coffee maker and grounds. TV in our room (Apple Room) was tiny (17") inside a large armoire but more than adequate and lots of channels.
With cute decorations and a cozy interior, this was a good stay. The inn is a few minutes away from shopping and dining options, and yet it seems secluded. We stayed in the log cabin suite, and it was very cabin like in it's decor. Everything about the stay was easy and breakfast in the morning was very yummy.
This is a must stay for anyone looking for a place to stay in the Dubois area. The owners are friendly and have a deep desire to serve. The property is crafted and designed with incredible precision that combines old-world charm with the perfect touch of home. Plus the craft store is filled with charming seasonal items. It's a must do for all!
